Arron, first I read dis stuff............. secondly , I think some and I mean some of the aircraft posters are secretly the same dubious clowns that pit down certain model builders over their lack of not putting up pictures here . I quit putting pictures on this forum cause too many people put up stupid comments and put up they're own silly half built junk ! Ed Shaver
  2. Jody , I can only tell you my personal experence with the Novus # 2 polish. I use it a lot to work with automotive laquers . Seems to do very well too. I also buy the same product through Game Stop stores as my Hobby shop will often run out and I'm not thrilled with internet buying . Ed Shaver
  3. Brizo, there is a " High - End " toy manufacturer known as Brio . They make several kinds of horses and they can be found here in Richmond Virginia at a place called the Toy Center on Patterson Ave .I don't have Jim's phone or a retail price currently. I just happened to notice the post as I did a project for Mount Vernon Virginia years ago. We were able to obtain what was needed through them . Ed Shaver

  8. I'm assuming you build all of your own accessorries as I'm not aware of stuff aftermarket in 1-12th scale . Meanwhile very well built exibit sir , well done ! Ed Shaver
  9. Interesting , yes interesting in the fact that no one has commented on the fact that when A M T did that kit , they built it as a standard long wheel base van. Now here we see that this model is NOT A LONG WHEELBASE VAN , it's a Maxi Van ! That friends took some very careful body work . Oh well, guess i'll go back over to one of the Van Forums I belong to .   20. congratulations on posting a picture ! listen , I went through I dunno how many ordeals to try and learn a system . First was the fact that I had a computer that was too slow to post pictures on forums accordinfg to two computer technicians .So for the benifit of a couple of the trouble makers here on M C M . , it's not always the posters fault . Not everybody has spare cash laying around to buy the latest electronic gagets ! Me , Ive got a family and a wife that was out of work due to an injury for a year . I'm on permanet dissability . So , lose the attitudes there children ........... Ed Shaver

  22. Vernon , I can't tell too much as to what was viewable . Im nearly sixty myself. I was born in 1950 so go figgure . There were some Balsa wood cars and I have a wonderful Hybrid kit / half wood , half plastic of a 1903 Oldsmobile . I really havent had time to build it but I will ! It was manufactured in 1948 !   24. Gary since i'm no " Off road " expert, I would send ya to somebody else . As for resin casting , try aluminite kits to experiment with . Synair .com also is a professional Taxidermy supplier of several dental and Art type epoxy resins that have different charicteristics .
