  1. I dunno, this place is like Las Vegas. works sometimes ...........................................
  2. Charlie , the Texaco station and the car tower were in Chicago .
  3. O K , the first shot is of a REAL , well was a real station at the corner of Denver and West Florence in South Central Los Angles . The building will go out on loan to AAA California . If I get time tomorrow , I'll throw out a few more ..............
  4. Do I need to throw more out ? Tony can tell ya , I have hundreds more . I've only been doing this since 1962.
  5. People , Art Lacy's Bomber station is in BIG TROUBLE . I was sent a report that money to keep just the airplane from crashing is fast drying up . This national treasure is really in serious need of a private enmity to keep it up in the air .............. Ya'll can see a lot more in my facebook entries .
  6. Thank you for sharing this information . My condolences to his family ...................
  7. I posted a short version on Faceless Book. I'm like Junkman, personally, I doubt they're going to pay any more attention top me than they have in the past cause I'm sick an tired of 64 Galaxies , 57 Chebbies , and 32 Ferds . I asked for re issues , yes stuff I'm fairly sure weren't "Morphed" into some cheap "Fad " modified re issue . Revell at least is listening to me , a 57 Ford sedan, a Mercury wagon and a 50 Olds do make for Diorama extroidinare material .....................
  8. Gee, constant updates from Windows today . here I am desperate to get two magazine articles done for a magazine I write for an the computer was freezing up all day . yes, with a lot of VERY STOUT Black coffee, I got my stories done with pictures even ! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Been awhile...

Bob, you never lost the TOUCH !
  10. I'm gonna chew on ya few the "Busy" back ground and the fuzzy pictures . Aside from that , you did an outstanding job on the Mercury !
  11. I saw this and wanted to share this to all snow freaks out there ;
  12. Yer more or less correct . No , I'm NOT at liberty to say who I have inside knowledge with either ...................
  13. An to think that Texas Commerce bank told me in 1975, ah , this is a fad that'll be gone in six months .............. Yeah, I made a whole lotta parts in my Houston Texas manufacturing business too!
  14. It's buildable . I say if you take yer time , it can be made to look like a very presentable model . I had to make the top arms as mine were simply too flashed over to be useful .
  15. I don't have a picture of either vehicle or I would share one . I guess it would be a toss up between the 1962 Buick Special station wagon and the A M T Styline 1961 Ranchero. Both would have made for several versions if I had been able to have bought them in the day .
  16. Cruising material, waiting to happen !
  17. Bill, one totally "Correctly " built model kit is probably much better than several schlock builds ! That's all.......................... ( insert Michael Savage's voice here )
  18. Jim, I can see that you are well armed for duty at the Old Dominion open in February ! Seeya there ....................................
  19. Oh well, I guess the resin guys will be busy doing 8-BA's for those of us who WON'T DARE slap some OHV thing in their replica stock Early Fords . Great work on that wagon too !
  20. I like the take you put to this seemingly BORING topic Chris ! You really brought a FRESH perspective , thank You .
  21. Trailers are really easy to scratch build . Shoot, I can scout around and probably find an old I P M S newsletter showing how to do them that I did . As for a 53- F-100, uh A M T had the best one although it's a weird combination of accurate and not so accurate Deluxe cab features . See, I still sell parts N O S for these trucks and yes , I own a 53 Ford too................
