  1. Richard, concentrate on the roof shingles now . The rest of the building is great as it is . Let me know if you need more Texaco stuff. I only sent you the very early signs up to about 1932. I have a lot more into the 60's and 70's .
  2. Use the Round "Black T then .....................
  3. Richard, Shell, Esso, Praits motor sprit , Mobil , B P , Arial .................... They were all European brands . I have art work on any of them if needed , jus let me know
  4. Ya get the "GOLDEN OAR " for such a spectacular move sir !!!!!!!!!!
  5. Bill, I bought one years ago when Wal Wourl had them. I knew a fellow in town that had a 1- 1 version. They did an acceptable job of it . I dunno what else to add .............
  6. I used to own Art Forms design Company up off North Freeway at Little York. I still remain in contact using the Houston Archecture forum/ board to stay in touch with all my old van buddies in da Cement swamp . I moved up to Dallas in 1980 and returned to sorry hide Virginia in 1991. I hate it here !
  7. The only thing lacking is a convenience store back drop !
  8. Tom, on M C M , look up at the top bar . Theres a picture of an envelope . If you have a P- M , there should be a Red Number next to it . On Scrap Auto, look over to the right and the word "Messages should be a different color if you have mail. O K , with all that said , how did you determine the Maroon color for the Bowser Pumps . I'm told by author Wayne Henderson they were a very Dark Orange . Since Indian had so few retail outlets , I'm skeptical . Look, go to my profile , I have my personal e-mail available . I'm wanting to eventually do another service station diorama and an Indian station might be something of future interest . People here will tell you though , I'm very much a stickler for historical accuracy though . You can also find me at Primariarily petrolinia @ oldgas.com too
  9. Tom, how did you determine the colors for the Indian station ? I've sent P-M's . You obviously didn't see them ...............
  10. DON'T Glue the crane down YET !!!!!!!!!
  11. Chuck, the transit Turkish manufactured vans have been on the road , well in D C and Virginia I guess for several years now .
  12. Too bad I can't put pictures up on this forum , or another magazine forum now . I would do a 1920's Early Metal Pre- Fab gasoline station on a Flat trailer . Generally, these tiny little stations only measured 10 X 10-12, were about 15 to 19 feet tall and had lots of glass panels in them . Tell me somebody will try and duplicate that except for Crazy Richard ............
  13. Don't look to have anything changed Jim. Re issues are just that, re issues , flaws and all ! Shoot , I'll get one just to do a step side out of one .
  14. Back in de 70's , ya couldn't get me to touch any of those cars . Look, I was drivin a 70 Econoline E-300, all van , all da time . Sure, I'd show up at 4 AM to get muh 10 gallon allotment during the Arab Oil Embargo. I came prepared, one Qt thermos with Dunkin Do Nut coffee and a full pack of Marlboro cigarettes and a Washington Post ................ Then a Houston Chronicle .......
  15. The only useful thing I have seen is someone did a convertible out of one . Even then, convertible top pieces would need to be sourced .................
  16. Art, surprise me ........................
  17. I dunno, I was in the towing business, actually owned my own company . I've built wreckers , drove wreckers , worked on others wreckers , made models of wreckers . The tires ................... I dunno .
  18. Peter, that build could make Mizza Earl Blush !!!!!!!!!
  19. What a build !!!!!!!!!!
  20. Complimenting the "General's work, " probably the only time they ever built a FWD car that could stand up to anything thrown at it . Complimenting you're model, outstanding !!!!!!!!!
  21. Wow, what a ride !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. I can only tell you to go to Bing , a search engine and put in 1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Images
  23. Jurgen, great job ! I traded Ken, a model member here for one of the Revel re issues some time back. I didn't really have any issues with the kit . I simply took my time and everything went together as planned , jus like you're did !
