that always seemed odd to me, first they knock your teeth in trying to get you on the ground then the try to put thier knee through your kidneys, trying to keep you on the ground after that they try to dislocate both you your shoulders getting the cuffs on you but when you get to the backseat all of a sudden its "watch yer head"

that sounds great Brandon i dont think ive ever seen one like that before maybe later on you could even build a back to the future twin out of a 2010 challenger only one question....how are they going to put the perp in the backseat

Lindberg Dodge A-100 Pick-up Coca Cola Truck
diymirage replied to Duntov's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
i jsut picked up this kit at the local hobby lobby for 11 bucks (yay for coupons) im really impressed with it, there is a lot of flash on it but that can be fixed what really impressed me though is that this kit includes 2 COMPLETE engines lots of kits (the revell ford 32 for instance) come with alomst two engine (in the case of the revell your one starter short of 2 full engines) but this kit has everything to build a good 440 (i think) and a great hemi with some really cool oldschool go fast parts im pretty sure im going to build the hemi, install it in the subframe, hook up the rear end and see what i can think up around it -
great idea, ill definatly try that thanks

Stripped down interior?
diymirage replied to cherokeered's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
sounds to me like they are scratchbuild are you planning on doing this yourself ? it seems pretty simple to me, that hardest part would be deciding what to do with the rest of the car, i mean, once you "strip" the door panel will you leave the backseat area stock ? before you know it your using only a floor pan and the dash iether way, if you get some thin sheet styrene and some good reference pics you should be set oh, you might also want to get some wire to attach the doorpulls to the latch -
came out lookg great i really like the tail pipes and that rear plate looks like the plate on my sisters bike not because it doesnt fit but because if you fold it over those roadside cameras cant send you a ticket since they can only read half the plate

only issue i ever had with superglue (apart from glueing myself to myself) is that after one or two uses i cant get the dad gum cap off its almost like its superglued on
-
if i had a leaning tower of power in my partsbox i might have gone for it...but no id have to check with the judges but i think your close enough the exact awnser is a supercharged twin turbo DUAL OVERHEAD CAM HEMI go big or go home right ? anyway, thanks to Keith Young i got the pro street chassis and suspension in i cut out the stock engine bay and glued it to the modified chassis (takes a bit of work to make those snails fit) now im just waiting on Alan from Ma's resin to send over some nice rolling stock and i should be able to finish her up

it looks like they are score lines for when you want to install functional hoodscoops the hood is quite a bit thinner there (so you can cut it easy) and sometimes the paint will "burn" through those sections even when it doesnt affect the rest of the model check out this build right here http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=42010&st=0 it had the same issue and there was a lot o discussion going on about how to fix/prevent it
-
finally got started today didnt do much but i managed to open the hood so the engine fits and made some adjustments to the frame to the same purpose anyone wanna guess what the engine is ?
-
very nice shine on the paint looks good
-
wires, yes, whitewalls, no if im getting the right picture here the paint will be generally light (desert sand and such) and i am picturing the wires painted to match, though maybe a shade darker it seems to me the whitewalls would create contrast not found anywhere else in the model, hereby distorting the paintsceme rather then adding to it thats just my 2 cents though

take a look at the hood on this build http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=29407 if your interested i can make you similar decals for this build, that will really make it personal -
yes but not untill after we glue both the engine halves together
-
when i read the name i was expecting a brown ford probe
-
came home from vacation today and opened up the monaco box today looks like i can build it the way i want but i will need to cut a hole in the hood to make the engine fit anyone want to guess what mill ill be running in this build? (ill give you a hint, ive been waiting on the right body to drop this in)
-
thanks again for the offer on that line i have some laying around the house somewhere, ill give it a try someday
-
that engine looks great im gonna have to try that fising line someday
-
looks great i specially like the mill, any better shots of it ? and those stripes are a nice detail my only issue, it looks like the rims are directional and the one that is on the passenger front should be on the driver side (if you look at them, the passenger rear look like the center is turned clockwise while the front looks like its turned counterclockwise)

Wow..this is really weird.

you should use this to get some more of the wedding night stuff going -
i do my sanding in the shower its a perfect supply of warm water and it gives me something to do while i soak also, by presoaking the pads you make them more pliable
