Top just about completed. Just need to do under rear window yet. Two different pictures under different lighting.

Started trying to apply the mod top decal but the color was coming off film. Nothing was said that they needed to be sealed. Now I need to wait for the weather to clear out to seal decal film before I can try again. Glad that the film is an 8x10 sheet.

Yea I'm always drawn to them at the shows when I see them. I built the 70 Hemi Cuda Mod Top and now working on the Dart and have the items to build the 69 Barracuda Mod Top when I get to it.

I have the mod top material in decal but do not recall if it came from Decals by Lucas of Keith Marks.

My next project I started to get ready will be this. Ordered F6 Bright Green paint from Scale Finishes and used half round .040" plastic for vinyl top trim and seams, sanded down seams to be flat. Primed and painted this morning since the hot humid weather has broken in Maryland.

Not sure about wheels and tires though. I was just going to use the redlines and magnum wheels the kit came from but, they look to small to me. I do have a set of AMT Tire Packs Goodyear Polyglas I'm thinking about using instead. Mock up with kit supplied wheels and tires

According to Landy's Dodges book, the 63 car was Mercedes Db-180 Silver. There is a color picture in the book as well

I have seen black engine blocks and blue engine blocks. Does anyone know for sure what color the engine blocks were?

I like it but it needs an early hemi instead of what appears to be a Chevy "W block".

Just decided to go with Testors Desert Sand for the interior. Here's a quick mock up.

Need some ideas for interior colors. This was the inspiration for colors but. I've always liked the darker color on bottom for some reason. Body started with Duplicolor Deep Jewel Green pearl and Tamiya PS-60 Pearl Green. Need to clear coat yet. Not sure what color to do interior in. Was originally thinking dark green but now thinking about a light tan. Ideas or suggestions?

Just paid $21.00 for mine at the 2017 NSRA East show

Just got my kit today at the NSRA East show and looks like a great kit. Don't think I will be building it as a replica of Foose's Black truck, will be doing a different color.
