  1. I was thinking the same thing; with a 302, that would be a very peppy little car. Nice job on that, Al. Charlie Larkin
  2. I like this one. The clipped corner and angled pumps is a very unique feature. Is that a Cadillac at the pumps? I can't quite see the hood ornament well enough to tell. Charlie Larkin
  3. I remember seeing that display in a 1988 SAE show article, fully populated with several dozen mid-late '60s Chrysler products. Fantastic diorama and it's nice to see it's still in great condition. I do hope you folks can find a way to bring it to NNL-East. I'd love to see it up front and would be happy to loan a model for NNL to display with it. Charlie Larkin
  4. Thanks for the link, Jeff. Not enough pictures on the site, but it still sounds like it's well worth the time to go visit. Charlie Larkin
  5. Aside from the not-quite rear wheel openings, what else is wrong with the body? Charlie Larkin
  6. A beautiful, and sad retrospective of what was once one of the world's great cities. I hope with all hope that Detroit and its metropolitan area will again rise and recover its greatness. The State of Michigan, and, in a real sense, our entire nation, is depending on it. Charlie Larkin
  7. The scary thing...I know girls that are about that pretty and that mechanically-competent. Charlie Larkin
  8. I get my car back today. Turned out all the noises were a bad starter motor. Although, I'd still like to see why it isn't starting every time, which I think is why I blew the starter. Charlie Larkin
  9. I'll second Mike's statement regarding Sterilite products. Having been to the plant (and almost getting a job there after college), I can attest to the quality of the product and the competence of the people that make them. Right now, I have most of my jar paints in a tool tray I got for free at my parents' church's rummage sale last year. Sprays are kept either next to the spray box or in some large plastic containers. As the containers are clear, I don't really sort them too much, but they are contained. I have plans for a vastly-improved (I hope) system coming soon. Charlie Larkin
  10. The Modelhaus makes copies of the SATCO tires in several varieties, I think the red-lines are among them. Those G78-14s are nice. Those were very common on the 1968-72 A-bodies for tire size; I'd suspect more than a few other cars would've used them, too. The modern size is P215-75®(B )(D)/14, the older size, I think was 7.50-14. If you mold those tires, Joseph, I'd be in for a set, particularly if you included Darrel's stickers for a choice or red or white-stripe. Charlie Larkin
  11. If one of these job applications results in income, I'm going to be ordering one of them. Charlie Larkin
  12. Nice job on everything, especially those side-markers. Charlie Larkin
  13. Nice clean interior, Chris. Charlie Larkin
  14. That orange and black looks so nice on that car. Beautiful execution. Charlie Larkin
  15. The package works well. Great job. Charlie Larkin
  16. I like the color combination. Are you going to use one of The Modelhaus interiors with it? 1955-56 Chrysler products are among my favorite designs. Very 50s without over-doing it. Charlie Larkin
  17. I think MCW has an AWB Belvedere in its catalog. Charlie Larkin
  18. That came out beautifully. The color is very nice. Charlie Larkin
  19. Well done. Charlie Larkin
  20. Very nice-looking truck. The white with blue stripes is a beautiful combination. Charlie Larkin
  21. Almost, Skip. It's Missing Link's....*drum roll*.....missing links! I slay me! Hey, it saves everyone else the trouble! Charlie Larkin
  22. I tried it with Firefox Version 22.0, which, according to Mozilla, is current. Charlie Larkin
  23. Job #1 of any car is a unique bragging right. Thankfully, the Aztek is more unique than others. Or should that be unfortunately? I wonder if we'll ever see one in plastic, just for the novelty/people who like weird cars? At least the undercarriage and engine tooling could be used for SWB minivans and a Buick Rendezvous. Charlie Larkin
  24. At least it has enough power to tow the trailer, but I'd wonder if all that power might actually weaken the car structure from all the force it exerts? Charlie Larkin
