  1. Very interesting take on this now. I like the switch to the slant as the whole thing is now different. What about a nascar chassis for a little better detail as a pro-touring car. Though it may not be 100% correct it is closer than what you have now.
  2. Welcome. There are a large group of good builders on here, just not me. LOL Very helpful people also.
  3. I will just call you smart for not paying that much. If we ever get the Coupe back again they will sell briskly for the first few weeks out of the gate.
  4. Nice color choice.
  5. It sure will Kerry. Everything comes full circle sooner or later.
  6. The winch looks great. I think the blue jean material on the seat covers are a little out of scale. LOL
  7. I went 1 time to a reunion, not sure I will ever go again. I see most of the people I care to see. Dad graduated in 56 and every year the same group have lunch in town and say hope you are alive next year. Just remember these old timers here went to school in a one room schoolhouse until 7th or 8th grade.
  8. Jim If you leave the conversation in your mail box, I do believe that is just like deleting it. Just click on the message you want to delete it will open up. Then in the upper right hand corner click on the message option with the arrow by it. Then pick leave conversation. I say this because the % goes down when I do that. This is if you want to do them individually. The Notifications I get nowhere with.
  9. Bob this is somewhat of an easy answer. The Revell kit is already modified and the AMT kit has a stock body. Revell has a caddy engine and a lowered suspension only even the Woodie. AMT has a flattie and a dodge engine of some size in it. Other than that you are left looking for resin bodies. The AMT is a blank canvas to chop, cut or even add on to. You could look through the Under Glass section to see what kit to buy.
  10. Great story Tom. I have meet both Tom and his wife along with Tim at the NNL Nationals . They are all very nice and helpful people that do not know me from Adam but are always there with a smile.
  11. Now this is what I would expect from you Jeff. You guys have always been another treasure of the hobby. Just wonder if and hope his line will be sold to quality guys like your group.
  12. Thanks for the clarification and the good news. Always a treat to turn the first page.
  13. I like this it is very cool. The gauges came out very good also.
  14. Good looking truck.
  15. I would have to think that the Crankshaft is because of his nic name. Not sure why everyone is finding this strange if you have looked at his builds, he is always doing different things. But everyone seems to forget that different is what hot rodding is all about.
  16. Welcome back. I hope you get to stay this time around.
  17. Wow that is sweet Al.
  18. Carpet, Jesse ? This is a racer, spray in bed liner. I like the color choice.
  19. Very Cool color combo Kerry. I like the Hemi powered Chevy. A guy around the corner had one of these in the eighties on a 4x4 Dodge Truck Chassis.
  20. 1967 Rambler Rebel could have drove one of these in high school but I was a fool and turned my nose up at the beater. It was a 6 cylinder 3 on the tree but it needed a ton of work. They are better looking cars than I remember back 30 some years ago. It was an elderly lady around the corners car until my brother purchased it from her. The car was in a wreck and full of mud. They could not find parts for it , no internet back then.
  21. Turned out very nice. Needs some chrome as good as it looks.
  22. Looks you have this well under control. I like the look of the big Hemi in the back.
  23. Maybe the internet is just getting old and grumpy like US. LOL Still by the day and by the hour how it works on my end. I do know if I run CC cleaner it works better for me most of the time. For the most part for what we pay to be in here it is fine. I will have to try the log out deal next time it acts funny.
