  1. Another fine piece of art from the other side of the pond.
  2. The Natives of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan have the same accent as Canadians that live in Ontario just north of them. We call them Uppers and they call us Trolls, because we live under the bridge.
  3. Being a Lions fan I had no dog in the race. I have watched many a second half meltdown from my team over the years. It comes down to how bad do you want it. Falcons have one of the best receivers in the league along with a great QB. They will be back.
  4. This is turning out even better.
  5. Wow they never get the cheap here. I nave not even seen a 1/25 scale get below 12.00. Must be to many builders/collectors around these parts. 5 bucks for the 70 or 71 bird good price.
  6. As I just read through the other posting for your invite to the other club I was referring to. LOL I have meet a couple of those guys and they are nice guys.
  7. Good to hear another copy is headed our way. Always a treat Greg.
  8. Detroit Area Auto Modelers puts this on. Sunday March 26th, 2017. 9Am- 3PM. 5.00 to get in. Great show well worth the time to go. There is also a Down River group around you also. Not sure when they meet but I think there is a section here for that info.
  9. The same is happening in the Classic Car World. They are also worried about who is taking over.
  10. Looks good. Nice color and wheels choice.
  11. Lorne Greene another great Canadian actor.
  12. On one of my fishing trips in Canada we went into a restaurant for lunch. Everything was fine with the food and service. When we went to pay the girls at the counter were speaking clear english and then flipped over the French in a second. I told my friend they were talking about how ugly these two Americans are. LOL I hope for another smooth fishing trip again his year in that great country. Just love the piece and quiet while on the lake.
  13. I agree about the Ranchero, Nice car-truck but they are not heavy enough to be a pulling a trailer with a car on it. A 57 Ford wagon or another full size wagon would look good with a Cobra behind it. That is if you are going for the 60's-70's track look.
  14. 1979 Capri with an 86 5.0 , 1978 Cutlass with a warmed over 400 chevy and my brothers 70 Torino 429 SCJ Drag pack car. It was rough (but fixable) and at the time not worth the money to have the work done. He was unemployed and sold the engine and trans before the car was scrapped.
  15. Revell The Dan Fink Speedwagon Chris. Our Toledo Local had all of the above and Revell Jeep Build and Play Lindberg 1938 Ford Custom Ford Van. (The old Testors kit)
  16. Great color choice, looks good.
  17. This subject came up at work just last week. We talked about how fewer and fewer shows outside of Police/FBI/CIA drama even show cars in shooting anymore. I understand why because of the cost, sure do miss that though.
  18. Looks good as always Ray.
  19. These are good questions you have asked Casey. Not sure what the gates are stuck is saying unless the hanger shot is from when the mld was last ran. It seems to me if something was stuck the hanger would be incomplete. They are not telling us much about what is good and what is not.
  20. Dad I still have glue left but no parts! Wait just found another box in Juniors room with stuff in it.
  21. If you are going for a street rod just whatever fits under the body. Maybe a NASCAR frontend. They are still cheap normally.
  22. I sure wish I would have taken a picture of my 289 before I stripped it last summer. I had the hard top painted and sitting on it but the paint job I did 30 years ago was not so good. I built the same kit Ray is working on now. Same box art but my body was not straight and Then I did not know how to try straighten it. It looked as if the Cobra was launching from a drag race.
