  1. Weather it is our cup of tea makes no difference, it is new tea after all. What engine is under the hood? To blurry for me to see. I will be picking up a couple, not making the 30 coupe mistake again.
  2. Kevin do you have a Hobby Lobby by you? They have a selection of Airbrushes also and have a 40% coupon.
  3. Another trick is using double stick tape on the back of the paper that you can stick to any shape you need. I will say that if you need a very thin end Arts idea would work better.
  4. John My AMT/ERTL Willys Coupe/Pickup kit has one on the chrome tree. Kit # 6544 Has the yellow car on the front with Fat Forty decals. I do not have an extra. Sorry
  5. Fine job. Keep up the excellent work.
  6. With the way they are doing the older box art with the gates opened up we will just have to wait.
  7. This turned out very nice. I like your improvements.
  8. Steven there is a Franklin Mint Diecast of a 55 Crown Victoria but I just checked mine and it does not have wire rims. I picked this up for my Mom as a Birthday gift. She Passed before I gave it to her. I was waiting because she had a 55 Ford Mainline that she bought off a used car lot in 56. She loved that car a drove it till dad wrecked it. And let me tell you she never forget that fact. My poor father could never live that down. Anyway How is that Hendrix body?
  9. Are you sure you are not married to an Alien? Next thing you are going to say is that, she likes going to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. LOL Great catch by the way.
  10. This is looking cool.
  11. This turned out nice.
  12. Sorry for your loss.
  13. This is over the top.
  14. Good idea with working on this at work. I like what you are doing with it.
  15. Thanks for the explanation of the Turbo systems. Bill I was wondering if this part of your statement is why I have been told that turbo cars and trucks that have been ran hard should not just be shut down right away. (If good drainage isn't provided to the turbine bearing, early seizure may result due to "coking up", which is simply residual oil inside the bearing burning and solidifying after engine shut-down, due to the very high temperature of the turbine housing. This was a common failure mode for early turbo installations.) I have been told about this just did not know if it was an urban legend or bad info passed along.
  16. Sweet looking Nova.
  17. Looks great just the way it is.
  18. I you sure that this is not a kit or a real truck? this is very nice. This is what most of us think our models will look like but rarely ever do.
  19. I think a post car would sell. The 2 door sedan interior may not match the hardtop but the bodies use the same chassis. I guess what I am saying is with a different set of windows, bumpers and grill (if they are different) they only need to create a new body but that is the expensive part.
  20. Mark you and me both on the 30. I picked up one and thought the same thing. Normally I pick up two as soon as I have the extra money. Not this time and I regret it. The chopped roof is what held me back from 2 the first time I had my hands on it. But now after seeing many built I like it or it passes as an ok chop for me.
  21. I do not understand the crazy price on the 29 as they are still out there at some stores, though it is out of production. The 30 is out of production and sole so well that they were sold out very fast. Then the problem happened and now nothing for now.
  22. Why not get a hose that will reach the window from the extra room. Just put it away when you are done painting. I understand that this is not an easy task to keep doing but you might be happier in the long run.
  23. Looks great.
