  1. The only reason I would think of going the gas route would be because of the availability of diesel in your area. Back in the day it was not found at most stations around here like it is now.
  2. Glad to hear you survived the D.
  3. This is very cool. Thank You for the information on the Unimog. They are here but any info is a help to most of us here.
  4. Thanks bringing this back up Chris. It worked for me. I used this link from Jon Cole above http://www.picresize.com/ and now I have an avatar. It is a car my late friend helped restore.
  5. Looks much better after your work on it.
  6. My brother lives in the old west end down there. Very cool large old houses. The House that the owner of Willys lives in is by his house. I stay up here just over the border mostly. LOL Never been to Potbelly's as I think it is a newer place. The Packo's by the Ball park is not the one Klinger talked about. Same food though.
  7. I hope you got to check out the local restaurants here James. Like Packo's and Fricker's two that I like. Playoff Hockey this your last week here.
  8. Glad to see JR retire before in turned global. The race goes on when everyone before him retired or worse that will never change. Well as long as NASCAR is afloat. The two things NASCAR changed this year has me watching more and complaining less. Wrecked cars are off the track and the stage racing keeps you watching more of the race. Normaly most of us only watch the last 10 or so in the chair. The rest of the time you are in and out of the race. When it is on FOX that is all I can stand of the Hendrick commercial anyway, love the mute button. LOL Empty stands are the pure product of over pricing from all involved.
  9. This turned out very nice, well done.
  10. Nice to have something different.
  11. Not sure if they were in all of the boxes as one I have had it and the other did not. Same box art kit. I think it came in the custom only woodie kit.
  12. I didn't know they made a C with the offset like the B had. I learned something today. The locals had and still have all brands around here.
  13. I am glad I clicked on this. I like it . Now that International B (or is it a BN) is not something you see every day around here. Mostly A's with a sprinkling of C'S and Cubs for the smaller tractors. .
  14. What about this, a Mercury pickup? http://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=Bh1QZDjX&id=F8CAFC6D04F89712BD6C8CA55CE33AD19D672386&thid=OIP.Bh1QZDjXCLjfTnWc5prrRwEqEs&q=1969+mercury+pickup&simid=608002791699775723&selectedIndex=13&ajaxhist=0
  15. That is the trailer from the 41 ford woodie. that is what AMT gave us. No top of any kind. When it first came out someone made a surfboard hauler with it. I am not knocking this as Norm's stuff is always nice.
  16. Tom have you tried washing the sanding screen? Silly question maybe just thought I would ask.
  17. That is a nice paper model. Like you said you completed something, more than I can say.
  18. The forum may be limited somehow to keep this from happening, just a thought. I do recall it being explained that people have a hard time putting threads in the correct place as it is. I do understand what you are asking and your reasons behind it.
  19. Prayers for his family and friends. Too much of this going around lately. I am another that liked his work and taste in cars.
  20. Joseph I think that RMR might have one, They do have a Van.
  21. You just do what the boss tells you to do. Not even sure they get box art to look at. One of the Revell kits I got was parts made from 3 different countries. LOL
  22. I like it, very nice.
