  1. Mark ironically they just posted Vic Edelbrock JR just passed.
  2. Nice work. I like the paint scheme , 21 is a number in NASCAR I have liked for years.
  3. I would also like to thank you for posting the other link's. I went and read them and found out he was living within a 30-45 minute drive from my house to the town he lived in. Very small but beautiful town. The pictures of the Autolite inline 4 carbs always make me smile. Dad worked at the plant they were made at. He said they had big pallet size crates of them. when they cleaned house they pitched a ton of them in the mid to late 70's. Funny thing about them is all you need is just two barrel rebuild kits to fix them. Nothing fancy at all, for the most part. To bad he did not pull a Johnny Cash and bring a bunch home. LOL
  4. Mark his sons have posted some very nice pictures on FaceBook in the past. I follow the page. I like what you are doing here.
  5. Have you looked through this site http://www.imcdb.org/movie_2802850-Fargo.html
  6. Fun to watch but they are nuts, plain and simple.
  7. TJ the Sedan Delivery was just at Ollies for 8 bucks.
  8. Lost another friend from way back yesterday. Not a close friend but still a friend. Not even 50.
  9. Al Dawn detergent may work the power clean is better than the regular. Use gloves and scrub with an old tooth brush. Wash and repeat. I have read here that you can get the body to move with hot water but I have never done it. Please use a dust collector and or a mask when sanding it.
  10. How did I miss that you had this done. Very cool, turned out nice.
  11. The 60 StarLiner has a 352 in it. Automatic trans. The 2 in 1 kit has 2 engines in it. Good luck in your quest, Dad had a light blue 67 with a 352 when I was a kid. Never drove it outside of the yard while it was under power. I was towed from the house to the field with a chain because I was not old enough to drive but we had to get back after taking the tractor to the field. LOL
  12. Mike beat me to posting. LOL https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_FE_engine Even if you do not have another truck kit there are other options.
  13. Pat that hood is long enough for a V16 Hemi. Going to be cool.
  14. Very nice. I like the flow of this.
  15. This is smoking hot.
  16. John try the local ollies oro a garden center. They have bread wire ties i a spool that you cut to length. That doe seem like a good idea.
  17. John is this the material ( the shape anyway) that you are looking for to do the wrap? I remember Dad had one of those wraps one times that had a black cord similar to this stuff. We used it to make Lanyards at summer camp in scouts. So how about some very small fishing line 2 pound test? Taco Bell brown napkins have been used before on seats here before. https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=z1UzeENW&id=DA68C9CC9E33A7CBB645AF1867573431F267FB5A&thid=OIP.z1UzeENW1lQyEawrDmpfLAEXEs&q=supplies+for+making+lanyards&simid=607990314897444724&selectedindex=45&vw=81cab+0ffdd+9a8b5+21ce1+99242+a6d1b+affdd+b8470+8cb08+a6d1d+b4d6e+993d2+993e8+9840e+1e024+4ee3c+81a15+b7366+212df+cc9c8+0400a0800a8ab4b30bf1a671238aac746ca8ddf2993d439135e08790f1c30c42abcf244809c0cd4d4c008136aaa64d199638912af31a64836b7419786cbd038c2d38ca2d9d313e3c21c1ff2dc829235f5edded27551a44de02b35edfaecc1738e9d6a5da3d5b08db65d569538e9483d8d5ee116bc684f9db90369b5affac1a0b4be2ac9e9b5dced184490d7eb6b254ff22deea05e15d&mode=overlay&first=1
  18. That is a good looking car built as a NASCAR racer.
  19. The Lindberg kit ends up at about 8" long. I just measured the kit I picked up at Ollies. Very Basic kit no detail on the underside. Single rear tires.
  20. This is awesome. Nice collection of cars.
  21. With all this plastic flying is like when a difficult Model hits the wall. !7 to go , maybe no more wrecks.
