  1. 1961 kit # 2557/T285 not sure why the book has 2 different numbers.
  2. I second this.
  3. http://www.madmodeling.com/store/ this guy will get you headed in the right direction. He is part of the group, and he is on here.
  4. The web page is not or never was very good. 2 of the members of that group are on here, and they are still making parts.
  5. I will say a pickup truck, won't be stock or have a flatty in it.
  6. This is the one kit I am glad Ollies had by me. These are rarely ever under 20 after shipping on ebay, or at least when I am looking.
  7. I understand what you are asking, but comparing kits that have decades between their first release dates is close to peeing in the wind.
  8. Looks great.
  9. Some pictures to look at also. https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=1930+model+aa+ford+dump+truck&qpvt=1930+Model+AA+Ford+dump+truck&qpvt=1930+Model+AA+Ford+dump+truck&qpvt=1930+Model+AA+Ford+dump+truck&FORM=IGRE
  10. Are you asking about The Directory? I will say that when I opened the front cover(to find an email address) it has a reference to a Revell reference book, Remembering Revell Model Kits and Monogram Models. First I have read the front of the book.
  11. It's a dry heat, this weather is how they came up with Beef Jerky. LOL
  12. I like this idea the whole nine yards. Looks better with the rope removed.
  13. I see this being used by Bank Robbers for some reason. 4 Doors so it blends in, fast enough out of the hole for street movement not making a bunch of noise. Get to the next stop for the other get away car. Maybe I have been watching to much Escape channel. LOL
  14. Todd this would cool to see one one those old AA's in scale.
  15. Not much else I can add to what has already been typed. I agree nice work and a very nice tribute.
  16. This looks very cool TJ. Nice work.
  17. Well done. I think at least one of the barrels should say Rum or Jack Daniels on it.
  18. Thanks for the heads up.
  19. This turned out Nice Steven.
  20. Very nice indeed.
  21. From the Company Facebook page It's with deep sadness that we announce the untimely death of our visionary and leader Vic Edelbrock Jr. Vic passed away this evening from complications following a recent cold. His passing was peaceful and in the company of his closest friends and family. The Edelbrock Fun Team sends their deepest condolences to his family and will always hold him in our hearts.
  22. Mark ironically they just posted Vic Edelbrock JR just passed.
  23. Nice work. I like the paint scheme , 21 is a number in NASCAR I have liked for years.
  24. I would also like to thank you for posting the other link's. I went and read them and found out he was living within a 30-45 minute drive from my house to the town he lived in. Very small but beautiful town. The pictures of the Autolite inline 4 carbs always make me smile. Dad worked at the plant they were made at. He said they had big pallet size crates of them. when they cleaned house they pitched a ton of them in the mid to late 70's. Funny thing about them is all you need is just two barrel rebuild kits to fix them. Nothing fancy at all, for the most part. To bad he did not pull a Johnny Cash and bring a bunch home. LOL
