  1. Looks so much batter
  2. I was having this conversation with a guy at work tonight. There are really no wrong answer with 1 or 2 axles. I like the look of the dually myself. We started to do the guy thing and figured car haulers do not have dual tires if they carry more than 2 cars they go to 3 axles normally. The truck will not have anymore tires out back , only 4 tires to carry the weight. if the spring rate is the same and tires have the same rating what would be wrong with 2 axles. As long as the bearings and axles have the correct rating should be ok. Or are we way off in our thinking? Just talking weight rating.
  3. Al this came out great. I like the blue color.
  4. Sure had a sweet voice. Not many stars today have what he had. The music world lost another good one. The old guy across the street claims his first time on TV Glen played his guitar because Lesters was in still new condition and Glens was all scratched up and worn. I have always wondered if that was true.
  5. Looking good. ARCA head quarters is down the road about a mile from me. They have a new place after a fire not to long ago. .
  6. I like the picture with the Ford truck for the wheelbase. the others seem to have a lot of rear overhang. Over here at the local circle track anything goes by the way. I have seen many school buses and vans cut down made into a hauler.
  7. You could change it over if you wish. A dually would be common practice today.I like the Dodge truck idea. If you go with the tandem you need to move the wheels to the outside it will look better. I was not referring to a dually tandem just singles. Only one being a drive axle.
  8. I do not get to use it but the guys that do sometimes do the second pass with just the laser to melt the filler it to the sock being repaired for better penetration. they also do that when laying multiple beads side by side for filler.
  9. By the way when they hit their finger the yell. The Laser beam will go right through a soda can both sides instantly. When they weld they look through a 40 power eyepiece.
  10. Yes he is Wayne. We have one at work, they use .010, .020 and .030 wire.
  11. Greg how did the chrome removal workout for you?
  12. Very creative, weathering looks fitting. I like the whole package.
  13. In 1955 my dad worked on 75 here in Michigan when he was in highschool. Helped lay sod on the overpasses. They are still working on it. LOL
  14. Looks fantastic. I like everything you did with it.
  15. If I was doing this nothing would be below 20 that is a complete kit. Walk into a store and buy one for 15. Being this is for insurance and you are covering your assets do not sell your collection short. Even parts have value. With kit bashed kits the value varies as we all have our own interests. You may never build that street rod you plucked the engine from but it has trade value to someone who would like to use it. So I would put the parts kits with just engine and tires missing at 10 at least, if it has no body just 5. Sorry if I am rambling BTW.
  16. Well done.
  17. Good point about the sharpie markers, remember it is back to school time here so they are on sale.
  18. Nice work TJ. Nothing like Batman and Robin from the 60's. The only thing better is Linda Carter as Wonder Women, for obvious reasons.
  19. Looks great, I like the shaker hood scoop.
  20. Mike this is very interesting. When I started looking at the pictures of the boat tail I was starting to think you left the top off the glue for too long. But now it all makes for a cool custom, I like it. I better find that lid for the glue. LOL
