  1. Nice work Pat . I also like your garage photo .
  2. I agree Peter. I would not use the friends and family. That way you can go back on the seller if you have problems. Figure out all shipping beforehand.
  3. Very nice Mark. He is a good driver with a win under his belt. Look at how far Danica has wet with her win. Luck is just as big in as skill in racing.
  4. The stores here have extra cases on the top shelf with the ends cut out. There are kits from all manufactures in the same boxes. Tom most of the boxes I see have L Lloyd on them. Why they are pushing all the stuff i want out east? LOL
  5. looks like you guys on the east coast have all the cool stuff. I would have everything in the left two rows in my truck also.
  6. Ray who makes the kit on the left? I have not came across this kit before. Nice buy for the money.
  7. Very interesting. Nice color choice.
  8. Well done Tom.
  9. We did not get any of the good stuff here. No 90 Mustangs or drag cars whats so ever.
  10. Nice save. I like the sign.
  11. Hello from Michigan, USA
  12. Amy, first I would like to say sorry for your family's loss. Your father is missed by us here. There is a Model Car Museum if you choose not to sell them. The are also a few car Museum's not for from Chicago that might take some for display. Here is one http://www.automobilemuseum.org/#home.html And another http://www.gilmorecarmuseum.org/
  13. Looks great. I like the color combo.
  14. Very nice. Worth all the work you put into it.
  15. The only reason I would think of going the gas route would be because of the availability of diesel in your area. Back in the day it was not found at most stations around here like it is now.
  16. Glad to hear you survived the D.
  17. This is very cool. Thank You for the information on the Unimog. They are here but any info is a help to most of us here.
  18. Thanks bringing this back up Chris. It worked for me. I used this link from Jon Cole above http://www.picresize.com/ and now I have an avatar. It is a car my late friend helped restore.
  19. Looks much better after your work on it.
  20. My brother lives in the old west end down there. Very cool large old houses. The House that the owner of Willys lives in is by his house. I stay up here just over the border mostly. LOL Never been to Potbelly's as I think it is a newer place. The Packo's by the Ball park is not the one Klinger talked about. Same food though.
  21. I hope you got to check out the local restaurants here James. Like Packo's and Fricker's two that I like. Playoff Hockey this your last week here.
  22. Glad to see JR retire before in turned global. The race goes on when everyone before him retired or worse that will never change. Well as long as NASCAR is afloat. The two things NASCAR changed this year has me watching more and complaining less. Wrecked cars are off the track and the stage racing keeps you watching more of the race. Normaly most of us only watch the last 10 or so in the chair. The rest of the time you are in and out of the race. When it is on FOX that is all I can stand of the Hendrick commercial anyway, love the mute button. LOL Empty stands are the pure product of over pricing from all involved.
  23. This turned out very nice, well done.
