Nice build. I agree with your issues, modern wheels make huge difference. Good wires on Bugatti with fatter tires help for the replica, as does similar for the Mercer-Cobra. The Jordan in my eyes needs a chunk of front fender removed and probably angled a bit, likely at back edge of random side marker? that matches nothing else on the car. Bumperettes are ok, I have opened up the grille and hidden the headlights, which helps a lot. I shortened the front pan and made the sills tuck under less, made them body color so body side not so short. Similar with rear pan, but it's contours are PITA. Rear taillight is all the way across, ala late riviera. I also am fiddling with the C post, as it is really busy, and makes the roof have a hump that goes flat in front. Your dark paint helped, which was part of my plan, Closed up the rumble seat too. Lots of work, more to be done. If you look at original drawings on boxes, I'm trying to get them closer to that. Pierce is huge project. Fenders with headlights are weird, as is rear taillight area, andrear window is flipped from the one on the original 33 diecast. I have drawings, tons of parts acquired, Don't think I'll live long enough for that one. Going to have to rebuild back roof, front fenders with custom 65 Riv or similar HL, and add small clearance bump on rear fenders to cover top of tire using a builder for some if I can. I move it out a bit to dump the rollerskate look. I've got 3/4 of each, so using a builder for the big redos. Duesy is a personal fave, I have 1 owner I started to make SSJ out of in 70's. It, hard to believe, stalled. But the rear fender edge and pan will not defeat me, rechromed and shortened 34 Duesy grilles for it, doing dual side pipes with rear dump in pan. Stutz I dumped the goofy zit fog lights and rear TL, fiddled roof chrome a bit. Bugatti got football shaped TL like 1:1, and trying to come up with adequate DuVal windshield, similar to 1:1. Doing a stock set at some point. Want a Mercer on a trailer behind a Monogram 427 Cobra, 34 Duesy on trailer behind the Renwal.

What Did You Get Today thread. Casey I’ve got enough of these things that the Pierce nose, Jordan fenders, a number of other issues getting corrected. Stutz, Mercer, Bugatti need little to be presentable. Bug mostly needs trim refinement to look like 1:1.

Hey Casey. Nice built-up. Not a color flip, it seems they couldn’t find an acceptable split like the others. Really hoping these molds or even some were lurking. Fun kits, update wheels, clean up some details, and kitbash some, cool results.

Only correct 57 Bird top molded. maybe Drag City does them. Thread around here discusses. Good hit. Blue rarer. My 2 are red.

Or the fact it changed wheels down side in the alley. Brain dead indeed. Though you see the appalling mufflers for less than 3-4 sec.

That was the 73 annual I think. Cool looking Opel. The headlights rotated side to side in a rollover. They were manual on some cars at least. Yank on a lever on console. https://forfun.com/LWa8

Rare bagged Hubley kit. Perhaps if similar sized bag of fentanyl included price ok. Probably could find a running 1:1 for $125. Friend got killed in R8 Gordini at Elkhart Lake historics. Hated all these since. Crumpled like a Hershey’s wrapper. RIP Ken.

Sneaky Pete truck.

Built up on box art. There was a tow truck version and people made fire rigs out of them too. Fair fit but with effort looks ok. -
Heresy from THE Valiant collector F500 had chassis bits from 65-66 Cuda I thought, as it had Hemi. The 63-66 all were promos without motors. Hope springs eternal. It had crude firewall and rad crossmember, but ages since I’ve compared the 2. I buy the F500 for the Radirs and the trailer, but it’s kinda cool. Someone decades ago did a Robin car that was pretty neat. Probably recalling wrong, but wishful. 340 Duster SM under a nice Valiant or early Cuda would be nice.

63 nova kit had SS trim iirc but I forget if it had 6 or 8. No 64 and 65 was curbside. Guess it had 8. Too long since I looked.- 599 replies

Clear partial bed cover. Was in previous issue I’d guess in current issue. Bonnie and boat had it. Could put ski gear under it iirc.

1/25 AMT 1964 Olds Cutlass F85 Convertible

Yessir. The Paddy Wagon had quite a lot of KT in it. One hit wonder but fun kit. The Night Crawler had KT bits, not reissued. The Phone Booth bits were in Mummy Machine, waste of tool but perhaps backdate possible. Triple Blower in Creepy T fun show rod bit. They generated a lot of different kits off KT/WD kit. Not all accurate, but not awful. -

Kinda small for Bandai. Maybe Cragstan Lincoln or Merc police car, 59 ish? -
The Cammer parts, surfboard, and custom front end in none of the other issues but the 2 Roadster kits, Nor were the top, boot, deck, mag style hubcaps, or fabric spare. The Roadster is the 68 and best I can tell the 69, but the Commando came out in 69 as well. Has 69 part number. It had full top, half cab, snow plow (shared with Universal Jeep CJ5 in 69), police equipment, V6 only. Stock caps or steelies, Suburbanites. Huge glass tree. No custom parts from roadster. 70 similar but safari seats, roo and bed bars new. Guns added that were not in Commando. I do recall it had full side panels in orange, but they were just front door only in 71. Casey, was full hardtop gone in 70-71? Back in 72 when front end got ugly. I’m old and have early issues, but not later stuff.

Lot of peoples jobs lost for now, but no lives. Good will return for them. Hope it’s soon. Good people helping. Less negativity than here. Great companies and people. Big fan of both. Godspeed

4wd only. So I’d expect 4 slicks 4 Gates Commandos or whatever, and 4 street tires, first issue had Supremes. Lame for truck but 12 tires maybe.

The 68 LM GT 40 is the 68 and 69 LM winning chassis. It’s a modified Mk 1. Fujimi issued a few times. Don’t recall RG release ever. Chassis 1075. Minimal differences 68-69 if you’re not GT/LM obsessed. Great kit have both issues 68-69 that Fujimi released. A few issues by them.

Oil changes are warranty service included. Extras for tracking better than others. Parts like orings and filters scarce but on your nickel about 1100k mostly labor to get to it. Lol. Dealer only. Happy dance anyway. 570 didn’t do it.

You’re showing us a Series 2 1968-70 that from the angle could be a 2+2. Comparing to an early Series 1 1961-64. Look at other photos posted early on. Save the Dogma.
