  1. Car modelers? Complain? No way ??
  2. Fun page I’d not seen before. There are more color flips, the Bugatti came with either white or blue body. I’ve never seen a Pierce flip, all are full maroon. I think I have a Jordan flip too, but I’ve never had them together. Never looked at boxes that hard. Have mib of all 7 plus set of flips. Now I have to check.
  3. Decals on ePay regularly.
  4. You are correct. I was just adding background, wasn’t clear sorry. The comp in my example I’m unsure of provenance just looked at body. Number is of 58 LM car but it was flareless with sliders and 9.5” in back. Also pre fender fences (can’t remember correct name chemo brain) Geez I love Daytona’s.
  5. That’s really nice Rich. Thank god you ran out of steam. Maybe I can get a 65 FB that doesn’t need wheel wells. ??‍♂️?
  6. Most comps had rear flares and covered headlights. A small number were all alloy. Wish they put 9.5” wheels on back like comps. They look better either wires for street or campys for racE This is a 71 US street car with 9.5’s and 7.5’s. Much better. alloy comp below
  7. I didn’t notice anyone beating on anyone. Snake knows what he’s talking about. I haven’t bought as many as he has but it’s hard to get decent 25th AMT. Great kits, and I forget but I thought a 350H had the roof vents on a tree?
  8. Ok. You rarely make mistakes so I pondered that. Nevermind ?
  9. AMT did do 72 MC kit. I have one bought new.
  10. Put the 55-57 corrected cab without sloping door window in all issues not just the street rod issues.
  11. Love this. Found it. Big Fiat. Pic when new Not an ugly car. Brief thread hijack for coincidence sake
  12. Bwahahaha. Spit coffee on my phone. Spare tire somewhere too. For fun in the body buck pic in left background at Boano, there’s what looks like a 49-51 Ford with roof that looks like a gull wing SL. Pretty sure it’s a one off Lancia or Alfa, it’s fairly big car.
  13. He didn’t do all the dreck on it 1955. Look at other stuff from then. Here’s how it was meant to look.
  14. Loewy didn’t put all that dreck on it, fortunately. Owner must have. It needed Snake-fu ? Loewy designed a ton of things, 53 Stude Starliner and Avanti for examples. This car had an XK140 under it so pretty advanced.
  15. Countach, (Italian Piedmontese) Koon-taash Gallardo ga-yar-doe Huracan Ur-a-can Miura M-yur-ah My what lovely knockers...
  16. Russell that’s an MPC. The weird lettering on instructions is MPC, just hard to read. Great kit, only weird thing is goofy hinge cutouts in roof for engine cover. Good score.
  17. I saw. I’m in TX so we see “snow” every 8-9 years, mostly thick sleet. I moved from snow zones 35y ago. Can’t even really visit. Miss ice racing though. Don’t miss putting cars away and driving salt catcher for 6 mos. Ugh. Hope power stays on.
  18. Porkers. Love’em. Celica was name of Toyodas secretary, mother of a friend of mine. Cell-ah-ka is how they pronounced it. There isn’t an L in Japanese, so it comes out Ser-ah-ka. No idea why they put so many names with L’s on their cars. Sky-Rine, Coro-Ra,
  19. What is this snow you talk about? Entex did awful RS too. Sold it immediatelyafter I bought. Wish Tilt/Marui did one. The mk,1 is really nice. All the fun stuff Hachette is doing, Hope they do RS at some point.
  20. Better link more info. When they say “closed” that means the deal closed, not the company, so chill. https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20210125005285/en/Praesidian-Capital-Acquires-Collectibles-Business They took stake in K1 karting in 2018. Mostly a private equity and mezzanine finance for private mid sized companies. Not a huge firm but maybe 3-500mm.
  21. Wonder if they got the California Street Vette or what’s left? Lots of TD tools had to use without license: Rommel, Paddy, Red Baron,... Some big sellers in there from back in day.
  22. We really need a Bronco reissue. The Blazer is ok for what it is.
  23. Wish they did the mk 1 RS. Looks nice though.
