  1. AMT is body to avoid. They did FF too.
  2. Remember the Pactra No-Tox lemon scented “glue”? Stuff couldn’t stick anything. Name should have been No-Stick. ??‍♂️ Toluene gives a good buzz if enough inhaled. Prob why kids slathered it on models waaay back.
  3. Geez. Forgot Monogram did step side Luv. Just thought of the Revell and R-M. Sorry, good call.
  4. Turtle deck may be parts pack as mentioned. Also if painted could be from Little T later issues. AMT has molded handle, this does not. I think deck disappeared along the way, I think after SweetTee in an issue molded in red with trailer. Prior to the brass chrome issue. Early Iron maybe? Tailgate is not Revell Luv step side. They sold that bed in parts pack. That said, does it’s dash match?
  5. Hey, without it they'd never get painted or stuck together. Chief's carbs are insanely good. Epic is justified, really. Thanks for the ordering tip for Drag City. 32 roadster pickup is a must. His 4 door too.
  6. How do you order from Drag City? Ed has neat stuff but Facebook useless for prices.
  7. Thanks Kurt. That's what I wanted to know, very helpful.
  8. Do competitors advertise each other?
  9. Tim, at least they bought the book. Cheap but excellent consultant ????‍♂️
  10. So what does FSM have to say about this? Big hit to railroaders, wing nuts, and everyone else. Ongoing for years but MM finally gone and the new lacquers a hit. Humbrol Revell etc just can’t do it. Other threads never mentioned rest of hobby needs, now that hobbies are back to some degree.
  11. I think changing the DLO on the rear door and fixing frame would do a ton more easier to fix it than roof. Window fix and frame plus sand down the boxy edge and you’re 90++% there. They made LTD sedans too, with Galaxie sedan roof and framed doors. Not common.
  12. Like the Black MM coupe and the Villa d’Este. Need a black mint 2900 roadster too. 2 Lawnchairs snuck in but in family now?. I need 8C but I forget. The 1750 a QR or a Heller? I wish they did the Zagato 1750. I had to draw line at sedans with AR. Need a die cast GTA too. QR did a Tin-tin B20 coupe but off scale, I think it was posted here. Nice stuff Gary.
  13. Cool Mustangs esp Milano and Bordinat. Mk3 cool reminded me of opel gt notchback show car. PMA Ghia, haven’t seen in decades. Leo, White Box, Burago seem to have been reissuing the QR cars. Blue TZ1 is same as my red one. There’s a 33 Stradale red with gold wheels. 2900 coupe too. Neo Cad nice. I have Don’s kit but it’ll not get done soon. Cool stuff, glad you hopped in here guys.
  14. Reorganizing cases, adding stuff and regrouping. Sorry for messy pics. Glad you guys like obscure stuff. Y’all have fun stuff too. Please feel free to add. Some labeled as 1/32 but really closer to 1/25. Close enough for me.
  15. The fire and police stuff appeared in the ‘72 catalog iirc, Ahrens-Fox included. Motor City was 70, they had to fiddle tool a little bit. So maybe 71. I forget how long it was in catalog, but first reissue was the HH. No idea on year of that despite buying one then.
  16. Jeep Gladiator. 62-88, in this case prob 62-65 Thriftside https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeep_Gladiator_(SJ)
  17. This is for die cast and resin cast cars that haven’t been shown here for the most part. Here’s a couple starters. An Automodello Duesenberg Mormon Meteor, and a Spirit of America limited run recast based off the hand cast dozen given to Goodyear and Shell execs at the time of record run. Both 1/24th.
  18. Mark, I have the Tudor and woody/pickup. I found a great resin Tudor with interior and doors molded in, so I planned to drop it on common woody kit, as I thought they were shared. They were different around tank and area below interior, didn’t look retooled. Neither original Tudor and interior nor resin body with interior fit. Back in their boxes. The 28 Grille is in the weird Ramchargers rail/dune MPC kit. Which I bought for completeness sake ??‍♂️? As always, I defer to you, but it was weird it didn’t fit
  19. The 28 Sedan had a Chrysler “413” in it. It was parted out into the Ramchargers Dune Buggy, and it doesn’t share much with the Roadster pickup/Woody tool. The box art for the pickup is a closed cab not roadster. I’ve never seen a closed cab A pickup kit, or I’d own it. Horrors, two threads discussing 2 contemporary kits cross fades. Wait 18mos and restart both.
  20. The nicely built blue car is the remains of the Chevy Astro show car. Nothing on it is related to the spy car thingy. I forget name of funny car version, maybe Scorpion? Wish Astro could come back.
  21. They have a couple scales. These listed as 1/24 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Scalextric-Slot-Car-1-24-Scale-Waterslide-Decals-ts119w-Herbie/284065664373?hash=item4223a20d75:g:MXUAAOSwIWtfoFS1 these say 1/24 but sheet says 1/18 https://www.ebay.com/itm/FFSMC-Productions-Decals-1-24-Herbie-The-Love-Bug-/301340469776 https://www.ebay.com/itm/FFSMC-Productions-Decals-1-24-Herbie-The-Love-Bug-/301905187255
  22. Thats a great kit too. 49 was stellar race car. Phillipe deL'espinay was US importer of Gotti wheels too. Got a couple sets from him for1:1 cars. He had a great Renault 5 Turbo 1. blue with red, the all alloy ones.
  23. Did that trailer come with boards? I have 2 41's, a pre-paint and first issue, don't recall trailer in either.
  24. Yes. Stevens has it listed. Tba. Great kit. A favorite.
  25. Henry Manney and Leonard Setright plus a handful of others made CD and R&T great reads. Miss that.
