  1. I can picture Mrs Brady getting out of that and getting grocery bags from that back. Bob
  2. 2 things strike me immediately. The Cuda looks good in every color of the rainbow. And that green wagon floored me. The nicest design ever to come out of Chrysler in their entire history IMHO. Bob
  3. This one's in my build queue. Came out great. Bob
  4. Welcome and nice job Joe. This is one they need to reverse engy. It would sell well. Bob
  5. Can't wait to get my corrected body from Greg either. Hope mine comes out half as nice. Bob
  6. I'll be wanting this set up. Do let us know when it's finished. Bob
  7. Very nice tribute. While not a fan of the F&F movies I did enjoy his appearances on Shark Men. 40 is is far too young to leave this plain and the irony of the circumstance is beyond weird. Do a great job. Bob
  8. The Model Car Museum is NOT a Hall Of Fame. It's primary goal [from what i can glean] is to show the Industry as a whole and its progress through the years. As such, there should not be any limits [and none I could see] as to who is represented there. We lost Augie too early so his being there is really a no brainer considering his many accomplishments..But Juha Airio is probably the most competent builder on the planet. His inclusion is also a welcomed idea, and he seems FAR from retired. Were I inclined to tell TMCM how to go about their business [i am not] I would suggest a "Leading Lights" type feature showing the movers and shakers of the current time. Builders and writers alike. But it is a MUSEUM and as such, is constrained only by how it's board chooses to move. Museums can and often show current exhibits of modern works as a way to keep current and showcase things that will IN TIME, be permanent fixture worthy. What the OP seemed to suggest was an outright HOF. A completely different set of criteria and ultimately worthy of discussion. Bob
  9. Replacing the belts would be a weeks pay. Probably more. Bob
  10. Looks great Brett. IMHO, the best looking Funny ever.. Bob
  11. Yes! Alex Ross is also a favorite of mine. If you like this you'll love his fully painted comic books. Look him up. Bob
  12. I am,,,,,,,,,,,,,,well stocked. Bob
  13. The stash groweth. Should we ALL live long enough to build them all. Bob
  14. Sounds like the man needs his car.
  15. Sunday morning, coffee and a bagel. I see this thread. Read ALL of the pages. Going back to collecting comics. The underhood panels with their complex shapes kept me coming back to them over and over yet again. For the life of me i don't have the patience for that nor the skillset. I was complaining about parts on my Enthusiast Dino build and after seeing this I'm simply going to build it as best i can and pack it away for none to see. WOW, and Awesome are words that simply DO NOT describe what has been accomplished on these pages. They fall utterly short. I'm not certain what words do apply but I'm not going to try. BRAVO MATE! Bob
  16. Kit is now on the revell site as shipping this month. Bob
  17. 3 years away from my production date. But I love these old flyers as well. Bob LOL, didnt realize i'd already posted.
  18. Nothing fancy, usually dual master cylinder [Chevy JL8] and disks all around. Manual of course. Bob
  19. While it's cool to see TD kits reissued there are a few that have not been for many years. How bout Horn Toad, Unreal Roller, The Snap Tite Construction series. Let's face it, Cop Out and the others are still available on eBay for short money. Bob
  20. Worked as a Euro specialist [MB, Volvo, VW, BMW et al:] for 17 years. Did some job jumping till I landed in parts. My job also requires "Know How". Store 3237 Baltimore. Bob
  21. Looked great in person at the MAMA meeting Ron. Looks just as good here buddy. Bob
  22. It's the subtle things that make this build outstanding. The black rubber under both the antennae and badges is what struck me. I am getting the resin body kit offered elsewhere here and am wondering now why I did. This looks as nice as any 1:1 IMHO. I'm going back for some more looks. Bob
  23. I know Norm personally and I will say that this is typical of him. He is the straightest shooter you will ever find in the resin biz. At the MAMA meetings he is helpful and always ready to listen to anything you may ask him no matter how small the request. I just bought his Ferrari 250 GTO engine kit for a future build and he made it to order, I got it yesterday from him and as he handed it to me he said if i had any problems he was only a phone call away to answer them. This is why he is the best resin maker out there. Bob
  24. I had all of these as a young lad. My quest for the set continues. I have only the Fiat. Bob
