  1. So you have Gunslinger, ST3 and a Warlock there? Testing my BC Rich knowledge. Never owned one but I wouldn't mind a Stealth like Schuldiner had. One of my heroes.
  2. A dull coat on the rat would be perfect. Stupid crazy awesome regardless.
  3. I think those diamond tufts would look just that much better had you sanded their edges and created a puffiness to them. Still awesome no matter what drivel comes out of my pie hole.
  4. Absolutely unique and well done. Those solid fronts are awesome.

Good to see mirrors on it. LOL.... Miss that guy...
  6. Excellent news.
  7. I agree completely. I suspect it will happen. Gregg will get around to it.
  8. Good looking build. I have the Dragon kit. Do you know how it compares to this?
  9. In the right setting this would be epic. Great job.
  10. Thanks again Cato. You were there as a liaison for us all the entire time. For that I thank you.
  11. How much paint was on that thing? Geez. The welded window made me chuckle. I used quite a bit of glue back in the day. I guess we didn't want them falling apart.
  12. Looks spot on. Welcome to the forums.
  13. I dug em all. It was always cool to see who he'd come up with next. I think the Dirty Harry made the longest appearance. The Harry Nillson was a fave since I'm a fan.
  14. Hang in there Ray. I too have taken long breaks only to come back and have to invest all over again. But a heart knows what it wants.
  15. Great eye for design. And cleanly built.
  16. THAT is super nice. The colors are an excellent compliment to each other. Watching.
  17. Could pass for 1:1 with the right background.
  18. Wow That M 41 is awesome! Great tribute to men who went underappreciated for a great many years in this country. I have several Vietnam era war vets in my family, and they all came back in shall we say "Less" than ideal condition. Thanks.
  19. Nice clean build. Too clean. It needs a ton of rust and wear. This would be a great platform to learn weathering basics on. I say get some weathering products and turn it into a rust bucket.
  20. Gorgeous. I'd love to own one of Harry's builds. Every time I looked at it I'd think of the old Codger and smile.
  21. This is how I live every day. I used to live with regret and worries and I gave that all up. I take care of my parents and sacrifice a bit for them. But they are important to me. They are where I come from. I get to see them every day and it's a true feeling of fulfillment for me. I have my workshop in the house and escape there as I need to. Losing Harry or anyone close always puts life into perspective, even if only for a brief period. Then life continues and we put it into the back of our mind until something comes up to bring to the front. Living in the moment is all we have ultimately. Live it well.
  22. I wrote a condolence on the site the Kahuna posted. I suggest we all do the same. We should show Harry's family how much he was loved and thought of here.
  23. So sorry to hear. What a long life to be blessed with.
  24. A very sad morning for me and all the Model cars family. Harry is the second of my Model cars friends to leave me/us. Chuck Naylor was the first and I still think of him often. I am getting the same feelings as then as I never met the man yet I feel I knew him in some small way. Harry's presence has been missed for quite a while in the way he posted and handled things. His wry sense of humor and matter of fact postings were a thing I looked forward to and always read completely and considered carefully. My 2 warning points were given to me by Harry and I wear them proudly as we argued back and forth as to their validity [Harry won of course]], but he was open to hear me out as to why I said what I did. Harry's builds were always a revelation of skill and precise technique. I totally enjoyed every one of his works in progress and followed them to completion. I'm not a religious man so I'll just be thankful there is peace for him and his family. As extended family I will weep for Harry and his struggle as I start to think about the world without his presence. We are richer for knowing him, poorer for losing him. Bob Frias
