  1. Very sharp...this was one of the Monogram NASCAR kits I built as a teenager back in the day...really like NASCAR from the 80s.
  2. US production of the Focus ended in May, and they had planned to bring the Focus Active CUV hatchback here next year from China, but that got scuttled. The Taurus has been cancelled, not sure if that will include the Police Interceptor version, but I suspect Ford will focus on the police version of the Explorer, especially since the next Explorer is switching to the new RWD/AWD platform.
  3. I use Waze also, but find Google Maps to be the best overall for navigation. I really don't care if Apple, Facebook, Google, etc know my location..
  4. GM is dropping a bunch of small and full size cars, to focus of CUVs, SUVs, and trucks. FCA is focusing on their cash cows--Jeep and Ram with several new Jeep products in the next couple of years. Likely not much for Chrysler or Dodge.
  5. Beautiful cars..have seen a few at Concours shows over the years. I esp. like the later ones w/ the semi hidden headlights like this 1970. I have a few Matchbox and Corgi diecast ones from childhood.
  6. Yes, this was announced several months ago. The Mustang, CUVs, SUVs, and trucks remain for the US market..several new CUVs and SUVs are coming in the next couple of years--a new generation Explorer, the Bronco, and a baby Bronco.
  7. I assume Buick will be all crossovers in the US, since the Regal has tanked in the market.
  8. I couldn't imagine turning off Google Maps...it's one of the most useful apps on my phone, I use it more than the nav system in Jeep.
  9. The year finished I would say. I have kits I started 15-25 years ago, so if I finish them next year, I’d count them as 2019 builds.
  10. Location services are enabled it sounds like. Apps usually ask to use location services when you install or update them. Pretty standard stuff on modern smart phones, pretty much has to use GPS for many apps. On my phone apps I use like Google Maps, Yelp, Waze, Uber, DoorDash, etc all need the location to function.
  11. I could see swapping the '68 parts if you wanted the bumper guards on the Chevelle or an El Camino sans bumper guards.
  12. Hardly that long ago..just 2 1/2 years ago when the kit was last reissued...
  13. The farm equipment kits though fit in with one of ERTL's core product lines--the metal farm equipment toys.
  14. That would make sense. Forgot about the Chevelle wagon.
  15. It is listed as 1/25th though. Maybe a new custom version of the '66 Impala (only been the one stock version so far) ?
  16. I remember that..I have a coffee table book of photos of cars from that collection.
  17. The grille design is different, and the 70 has only 2 headlights (which are larger than the '69s). I still don't see any point to trying to fit a '69 front end on a '70.
  18. That wouldn’t make sense as the 70 kits are 1/24th and the front styling is different.
  19. The kit apparently doesn't have hood pins (the box art illustration shows them, but BIll's pics of the kit doesn't show them).
  20. Sharp..like the color combo. That exterior color reminds me of the color of a Matchbox '57 Chevy that was one of my favorites from childhood.
  21. Monogram/Revell made it triangular. The real window shape is a trapezoid.
  22. Yes, the quarter window shape has been consistent through all the variations and scales..the Monogram 1/32nd and 1/87th Mustangs also have it.
