  1. Airfix is still around https://www.airfix.com/us-en/shop/vehicles/cars.html. Seem to be still doing 1/32nd scale kits. Maserati is still around also, part of FCA.
  2. My last 2018 HLJ shipment came today.
  3. Beautiful build..I love the '67-68 Cougars.
  4. That's a cool IRS setup..interesting to see the inboard disk brakes..never seen them like that.
  5. One of my favorite 60s style wheels were these American Racing wheels...called the 'CP 200' I think. My brother had an '80s vintage set that looked like these (rough textured gray spokes) on a '68 Camaro SS 396 he had for about a decade..I think I have a set in 1/25th somewhere in my stash.
  6. Neat looking wheel selection...some look very similar to those of other brands of that era.
  7. Sometimes I can be irked and pleased at the same time...some things just naturally have that duality or ambiguity.
  8. Hmm...I have the Monogram 1/32nd '70 Mach 1 and Mini Exacts 1/87th '69 Mustang...but this looks like is a '69 Boss 302.
  9. Test shot pics, maybe? The front bumper isn't chromed.
  10. So many modern truck and SUV subjects that would be great to see...like the new Wrangler and Gladiator, the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk or Trackhawk, '19 Ram 1500 pickup, etc. And as far as kits that could appeal to adults or kids, how about the beater '70s Camaro from the Transformers movie..
  11. Different Revell, though... hopefully the Germans are more attentive to accuracy than the past US regime.
  12. And the Esci/Italeri 1/24th Land Rover Series III were 109 2drs, while Revell is picturing a 109 4dr (though it's a picture of a 1:1, not a kit).
  13. Interesting. Never noticed the difference in box sizes between Round 2 and Revell. Comparing a couple kits, recent Revell boxes seem to a bit taller than Round 2 boxes, same length and width though. I do seem to be able to stack 4 Round 2 boxes in the same shelf space I can fit 3 Revell boxes.
  14. That was unique to the AAR (Challenger T/A had it also I think).
  15. It all seems very arbitrary..
  16. Looking at the current Revell DE website, kits at Level 3 include the Monogram '66 Shelby, '10 Shelby GT500, Audi R8 coupe and Spyder, BMW i8, Mercedes AMG-GT, Porsche Panamera, McLaren 570S, etc...so reasonably highly detailed. Level 4 kits include the '68 Charger, '97 Ford F150, Mercedes SLS, Porsche 918...
  17. The Revell is a rebox of the ICM kit, just recently came out.
  18. Power came back on around 1am after being off a couple hours...had a couple glasses of champagne but otherwise a low key New Year's Eve. Odd weather yesterday, heavy rain and wind most of the day, and the temp rose in the evening to 62F at 11pm.
  19. I was able to extract the content from the email into a PDF..this should work. Revell2019.pdf
  20. Oh well, it was working earlier.
  21. I got the 'Revell Novelties 2019' email this morning w/ their 2019 flyer. The AAR Cuda is shown as an illustration in purple, and for the Land Rover they have a pic of 1:1 109 Series III 4dr. The email links to this page: https://www.revell-news.de/display.php?M=226393&C=4c148a3da33b289d7cb5a76a76d7a796&S=856&L=36&N=445
  22. 62F and windy here tonight. Power went off about 15 min ago. But I have flashlights and champagne. Happy New Year!
  23. Love that box art...that's one 917 I don't have.
  24. Unknown...but that is a European market list, haven't seen a US specific release list yet.
