Yes...they've had a ridiculous number of starting quarterbacks since the team was reborn in '99....something like 34 I believe. No stability...
-
I haven't seen any release info for Revell USA for the GT LM, I've seen March for the RoG release.
-
I may get the Ford GT LeMans. I do have the Porsche tractor and Panamera on order, but those were 2017 releases.

Will be interesting to see what the new GM (Dorsey) does. they keep saying Hue Jackson will be back next year, but I have my doubts...a 1-31 record isn't very confidence inspiring.
-
I am surprised they didn't do something obvious like a 911 GT3 RS, or even a regular 911 Carrera or a Turbo or one of the other 25 variations. I do like the newest Panamera, though. A Cayenne would be nice to see also.

Hopefully they fired the twit that posted that...

Clearly Scale does. I got those parts from them back after the 83 came out. http://www.clearlyscale.com/product/cutlass-euro-style-nose-fits-revell-83-hurst-olds-kit

They are down in the black lower fascia between the tail pipe tips.

The circle on the right near the lower light is the tie down hook cover, I believe. There is a matching one on the front. This is where they screw in hooks and tie down the cars when shipping..

Regular cab w/ short bed is one of those combinations that seem to be very rare anymore...I'm used to only seeing extended cab and crew cab pickups.

1/25 AMT '62 Pontiac Catalina Polyglas Gasser II
Rob Hall replied to Casey's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Same roof, different A-pillars.it would have made sense that they modified the '62 into the '63...but I wasn't around then working for AMT, so who knows what they did...but since it was 56 years ago, a bit pointless to speculate now. -

Separate frame and floorpan, same as the previous issues of the modern tool '62... -

In the era of promos and annuals, that was the standard operating practice is my understanding. Obviously, in years where the was a total redesign like 1965 GM full size, the tooling probably was all new. -

Considering it hasn't been reissued since then, that would be safe to assume. It is odd it existed in '69, I would have assumed the tooling would have evolved to the '63 and '64 annuals. -
Chevrolet Van/Medium Duty Chassis Cab
Rob Hall replied to Fabrux's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I think that was a custom nose used only by Winnebago and Itasca (both were brands of the same company). I remember seeing those in the 80s when I did a lot of RVing w/ my folks. It wasn't the only custom nose Winnebago had for Chevy cab RVs, they also had this sloped nose for the Warrior in the 80s.. -

The wording of the ad seems to imply 3 sets of tires---the same 2 sets from the previous release, and the 'bonus' Polyglas with redline tires (the same tires from the last '68 Road Runner release?) . The previous release (blue drag version on the box art) included all the custom parts and 2 sets of tires.. This would fit the Round 2 script: previous release+new set of tires+new decals +new box art = profit. -
After 20+ years of driving 4x4 SUVs, I'm so used to them it would be hard to go back to a car for a daily driver. I like the ground clearance, high seating position, and extra traction.

I'm glad I'm in the suburbs with a garage. I haven't shoveled my driveway yet this winter, with my 4wd Jeep I get in and out just fine. Though I have shoveled the sidewalk and walkway up to the front door so the mailman and Fed Ex/UPS/Amazon deliveries can go on...

I would assume so, since the ad says 2n1, builds factory stock. -

Heck, I'm 47, and only know of Polyglas or Wide Ovals from model kits and old car mags...I've always had radial tires on my 1:1 vehicles...radials have been mainstream in the US for over 40 years. -

'boots' must have been slang for 'tires' also. -
Lamborghini Trattori is a separate company, unaffiliated with the car brand (same founder). I didn't realize they still exist and still make tractors. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamborghini_Trattori This 50s version would be neat in scale.

I went to a couple pre season games this year. Was fun to watch them win. Then I went a couple regular season games..back to losing.
-
Yeah...too cold to go outside today. Though it is sunny. Can always hope for better next season...though I've said that for years w/ the Browns--I remember them being halfway decent when I previously lived in NE Ohio in the late 80s-early 90s.
