  1. I've been buying them from Heller's website.
  2. That one could make a nice retro reissue with box art similar to the original issue '55 Nomad.
  3. Yes, 193 hits on AMT '55 Chevy, 83 on Revell...plenty of them out there...
  4. The Chapron convertible or Presidentielle sedan would be interesting variations...
  5. Sharp kit..forgot it had an up top. Round 2 is reissuing it in w/ new AMT box art soon.
  6. Sweet. Looking forward to this. Hope they eventually do an SM.
  7. What is known is that Revell announced that the kits had been discontinued. The why is irrelevant to us, the consumers. The same kits or something similar may be issued in the future. That's all we know for now. Anything else is pointless speculation.
  8. It's the MPC 'Elegant Farmer' show rod. I had read that thread and commented on it a couple of days ago, but the topic seems to have been deleted.
  9. A '55-56 Mercury or '57 Turnpike Cruiser would be nice...though I'd really like to see a '68-69 Cyclone or '67-68 Cougar.
  10. I suspect we will see at least one variation of the '65 Comet. And wasn't there supposed to be a stock '61 Catalina variation of the Ventura (besides the MK NASCAR version that was announced) ?
  11. My #203 bag label says 'EXPIRATION ISSUE 211'. Which reminds me, I need to change my mailing address.
  12. Clearly Scale is based in Canada. His US remailer is in Pa.
  13. Moving out of a house after almost 9 years leads to finding plenty to get rid of....been busy boxing up stuff for my move to Ohio..
  14. Busy busy busy packing up all my models from storage to get them ready to ship to Ohio...great weather in AZ for box shuffling.
  15. Cool build...great weathering results.
  16. What I can't figure is why he still has the website up---it hasn't been updated in 9 years...someone has to pay for the domain name and hosting..you would think he would take it down if he's not in the resin casting business anymore...weird..
  17. I know where mine is, it's in box AZ-RM-24 in storage unit #4 (according to my database).
  18. Standard business stuff...obviously, Revell isn't going to air any dirty laundry or legal complexities publicly--they are part of a privately held company, not publicly traded. No need to disclose any private matters. Bored people on the internet are reading too much into this and speculating too much. The reality is Revell discontinued two products, which will likely return in the future. They made a statement about the discontinuation, that's all we need to know...nothing to see here, move on...
  19. Chevy had regular 2dr and 4dr wagons in '57, Nomads were 2dr only w/ the special roof from '55-57. After 1957, they did use the Nomad name on regular 4dr wagons.
  20. old tooling, unrelated to the subjects of the thread. Trying to create a distraction?
  21. The Dodge version started out as the Omni O24 coupe, then became the Charger in '83 IIRC. Plymouth's TC3 was renamed Turismo around the same time...
  22. Mmmm...paczki. I tried some recently for the first time, several places in Parma, Oh that sell them...very tasty..
  23. Because they want one and can't find it anywhere else? It's out of production.... $100 isn't much, not like it's $1000... supply and demand... I have one, plan to build it eventually. If it were a kit of a subject I was interested enough in to buy multiples, I'd pay a premium to get one...
  24. 203 came today...looks good at first glance.
  25. Got the latest MCM issue in the mail today..
