They kind of look like Cragar S/S rims with Cragar 377 Series Supreme center caps, or a custom center cap. -

Cool...I'll have to check them out...I'll be staying in Independence, should have a free weekend to run around if the weather permits.. -

Well, the Bobby Allison stock car version seems to be the only version issued (a couple of times) since around 1980. The stock version has never been reissued... -
Having developed and implemented banking systems, I know exactly how things like this happen...all depends on when they run their daily accounting processes...

I always thought it was odd how worn out Hutch's '73 Galaxie looked considering it was only 2-3 years old... -
Last Modelhaus Order
Rob Hall replied to unclescott58's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Last month I got my order from May 15th...'60 New Yorker ht, '66 Buick Skylark convertible, ''66 Grand Prix ht and a bunch of parts. I have two orders still pending--from June, a '70 Mercury Colony Park wagon, and from July, the '57 Dodge ht, '57 Dodge 2dr sedan, '57 DeSoto Adventurer, and '60 Plymouth 4dr sedan. -
A couple memorable events did result in having to close offices and go home that I remember... About 10 years ago working in an office tower in Denver they were testing the back up power generator...and the 10 story building filled w/ diesel fumes and smoke...had to evacuate..in a blizzard. And a couple years ago here in Scottsdale the 3 story office building I currently work in had the plumbing shut off due to a water main leak...no flushy potties, no worky....

True that... but I think I've only been through a couple power outages in 20 years of corporate life...not a common event.

I have a couple---a '71 Riviera and a '73 Bel Air, they seem quite accurate as far as proportioning and detailing. I love 1/43rd, have been buying more lately...got a few from BoS and NEO also..

I can do most of that with Outlook on my computer...though I don't care about the phase of the moon (probably is a phone app for that).

GMC/Chev van kits. I have questions...
Rob Hall replied to iamsuperdan's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Never said the wheel flares were molded in on the A-Team van, that was in reference to the Revell Chevy van, which is the only short wheelbase GM van kit... -

Rob Hall replied to iamsuperdan's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
No short wheelbase GM van without the flared fenders was kitted. AMTs vans were all long wheelbase. The A-Team version of the AMT van had an 1983 or so GMC grille w rectangular headlights. -

The Countdown Series and Cruzin' USA series were my first exposure to many AMT kits---I started building glue kits in '78...it wasn't until later that I learned about the world of original annuals and reissues and all the nuances of them... -
About the only kind of print calendar I've used since the end of the last century are a Dilbert day-by-day desk calendar in my cube at work. With calendars on my computers, phone and tablets I really don't need print ones..

Got my last 2016 shipment today, another Revell Bronco, and the AMT '69 El Camino and '77 Monza reissues. Probably going to hold off on buying anymore kits until after my move next month...

Should get mine today. I think the different dashes represent model year changes from 75 to 76-77. The one in the lower right of the photo above looks like the 75 dash to me, the one in the lower left is the 76-77 style dash. Likely similar for the steering wheel differences. Edit: got mine today. Not a fan of the large box and the ghastly box top art, but the kit looks like it should build up nicely. This is the first AMT Monza I've had, have 3 different years ('75, '78, '79) of the MPC Monza and also the MPC Skyhawk in my stash.

Yeah, I built a bunch of the 1/32 Revell Snap Tites as a kid around 1976...'67 Cougar, '67 Mustang, Camaro, Firebird, Barracuda, Javelin, a Beetle...molded in various colors w/ chrome bumpers and wheels. They later released the Mustang and Corvette (and maybe others) w/ the chrome parts molded in gray.

They are doing the current generation Camaro also. 3 versions so far (snap, full detail and pre paint), at least 2 more coming (1LE and 50th anniversary)... -

As far as kits, it will be the usual...reissues and reissues of reissues w/ new box art. A formula that seems to be working for them.. a number of other 2017 releases have been discussed in other threads here and can be seen listed for preorder on the vendor sites---such as the '49 Ford coupe, '57 Ford Fairlane 500 2dr, '60 Ford Starliner, MPC Vega Pro Stock, '16 Camaro 1LE, '17 Camaro 50th anniversary, etc... -
A saw a Porsche tractor at a Concours 'de Elegance car show in Denver back around 2010...took a few photos, have to find them.. was a neat tractor. The Panamera kit will be nice to have, didn't care for the 1st gen, but the 2nd gen is a good looking car...though I'd really like to see a current 911 kitted, maybe in GT3 or R trim.
