  1. The Dodge '300' Color Me Gone kit is out now.
  2. I got my May 15th order on Friday also...'60 Chrysler New Yorker ht, '66 Buick Skylark convertible, and '66 Pontiac Grand Prix ht along w/ a bunch of parts. My June and July orders w/ 5 more kits are still pending. Great stuff as always.
  3. Patreon is pretty common in the world of podcasts. It's the listener/viewer supported content model for funding the production-- media content isn't created for free, the listener/viewer supported approach has become a pretty common alternative to advertising supported content.
  4. Saw a solid lt blue 66 Pontiac LeMans 4dr Ht parked a gas station. Faded paint but straight and no visible rust for a car in NE Ohio.
  5. Got my order from The Modelhaus from May. 60 Chrysler New Yorker, 66 Grand Prix, and 66 Buick Skylark conv along w a bunch of parts. Still have my June and July orders pending.
  6. Saw a Chrysler Sebring convertible in traffic, nothing unusual, but it was top down with a large refrigerator in the back seat...
  7. Where the Grand Tour is is well known, it is on Amazon streaming. It's free with an Amazon Prime subscription.
  8. Never had either release of this one, so I'll probably get one...
  9. The grille with the offset Ford oval is the '83-87 style. The '88-91 style like Tom posted has a different bumper, different rounded corner caps, turn signal housings, grille, etc..
  10. Easiest way to search is just google 'year make model production numbers' and you will get a number of results..
  11. A body only wouldn't be very useful for any of these, as there are no available kits that would provide usable chassis or interiors...would need to include an interior and chassis to make sense to me.
  12. I like it...enjoyed the first episode more than the second. it has some room for improvement, some of the jokes fell flat and some segments dragged... But the strong elements of Top Gear remain intact...the chemistry of the 3 hosts, the cinematography, the great cars, locations, music. Looking forward to the next episode..
  13. I've had a few Tahoes and Yukons as rentals, I like them quite a bit..had no problems w/ the seat adjustment... thinking a 4WD Tahoe might be the ideal replacement for my old Jeep, especially if I get a boat in Ohio like I'm thinking about doing next year. As far as Teslas go, I've ridden in a Model S a couple of times..one of the execs at my current client has one, rode in it to lunch a couple times..very quick and smooth..love the styling.
  14. The recent releases of the Z/28 is from the same modern 90s era tooling as the B-M. The 'old' tool Z/28 w/ the bad front end was only issued once around 1990 IIRC (#6896, red car on gray background box art), AMT/ERTL logos).
  15. The Miami Vice kit is the Monogram kit. The 512TR was a later facelift version of the Testarossa. Monogram did kits of both.
  16. This is the link to the review..wasn't in the original post. Maryland Automotive Modeler's Association http://www.mamasboyz.org/Newsletters/1611.pdf
  17. Nice find...IIRC these were issued as a promo only, not in kit form.
  18. how is that relevant? Just sounds like you are bragging...and you reviewed this kit, but haven't built it?? And bringing up that you spent 35 years in the auto industry is also irrelevant. Just shows you may be biased towards the domestics. I have the kit, haven't built it yet, but the comments of people that have built it certainly are of more value...
  19. That would be a good retro release candidate.
  20. over and over and over and over....every few years, repeat. I am surprised that other Mueller-era kits like the '57 Chrysler 300C and '58 Edsel haven't gotten the retro reissue treatment yet...
  21. Interesting that they are reissuing this again..Round 2 released it in retro box art back in '08-10 or so, IIRC...
  22. How does the AMT '28 correlate to the Revell '30? Seems like a non sequitor...
  23. Could be...it does also have the roof separate like the pickup kits..probably too complicated to mold it all as one piece w/ detail.
  24. Yes, that was well publicized last year...I guess people have short memories. And Revell made it clear that the 2 Foose kits would be new tooling.
  25. A stock new tool 56 would likely have to be a different tool from the custom Foose version, and since Revell has had a stock 56 for 50+ years, a new stock version probably wouldn't sell very well compared to the Foose one.
