  1. Yeah, I ordered them from Heller's website. Took about a week to get them. I have seen the tractor for preorder on the US retailer Megahobby's site.
  2. I haven't found it to be cheaper to source RoG kits from Europe than to buy in the US....unlike Heller kits which have limited availability here, RoG kits are readily available from multiple vendors in the US. I know there is the stereotype of American modelers being cheapskates, but we aren't all like that.
  3. Got mine today along w/ the Talbot Lago race car, haven't opened them yet..waiting for the weekend..
  4. Got the AMT '16 Camaro SS full detail and snap kit versions along w/ the AMC Pacer wagon...
  5. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/109582-hoboy-hot-news-1974-dodge-monaco-police-cars-coming/#comment-1558810 Greenlight Bluesmobile thread
  6. Oddly, since this kit was announced, I've been seeing more early Broncos around...saw 3 in the last week...all lifted, 2 with the tops off. A dark gray one, a bright yellow one, and a black one..
  7. Those are the usual Greenlight Green Machines limited 'chase' items...the regular ones have normal tires. 'Green Machines' are the GL equivalent of Hot Wheels 'Treasure Hunts' or Johnny Lightning's White Lightnings...
  8. They are out now...ordered them from Diecast Model Warehouse, only $19.99 each. Been looking forward to these for a loooong time...I have several in other scales, but long wanted a 1/24/5th one. Diecast Models Wholesale--Greenlight Monacos
  9. The big problem w/ the RoboCop Taurus (and the regular Taurus police car kit) is they were based on the Taurus SHO body and trim, and had the SHO Yamaha V6 rather than a regular Ford V6 the police packages used, so they were kind of phony police car kits...
  10. Revell re-calibrated their skill levels a year or two ago.....level 1 are the snappys w/ 5 parts or so...;)
  11. Neat...molded in color like that, it looks like a promo...
  12. The original poster said decals, so I thought stripes...anyway, it's interesting to have another variation of the Revell '68-69 Corvette...
  13. I remember seeing this kit in the 1979 catalog, but have never seen one in person. Similarly, there was the 'New Monkees' '87 Mustang GT convertible (with '83 interior and engine) that Monogram put out...I think the TV show had already been cancelled when the kit came out. And how about the AMT 'Knight Rider 2000' custom thingy? That was a dud I bet...
  14. I would think the real 'least popular' kits would be those that sold the least...
  15. Going to have to get some of the door handles. I got a bunch of his tires in the mail today, BF Goodrich Radial T/As in different sizes...good stuff.
  16. whatever...stripes, emblem, same difference..
  17. Hard to tell from the flyer photo, but it does look to me like it might have the barn doors...
  18. Makes no sense to have to take parts from three kits to make one version...and the Camaro Yenko stripes probably wouldn't fit a Corvette...
  19. Yes, I ordered it along with the Ferguson tractor from the Heller website last week...going to be an interesting pair of kits.
  20. ??? You are thinking of the Round 2/AMT kit. This thread is about the new Revell kit... http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/116134-a-reasonably-serious-new-tool-70-charger-revell-is-hiding-in-plain-sight/
  21. I'd like to see the MPC '71 reissued...I've got 4 of the annuals in various conditions, 2 of the '87 reissues, 1 of the GTX (one of my favorite box art pics), and 1 '72 kit built up in my stash...love the styling of the 1:1.
  22. IIRC it was within 2-3 weeks.
  23. It's great to see vintage SUVs getting some attention...with the Bronco and now the Suburban...who knows, if they sell well, maybe we will see some classic Jeeps tooled up..I'd love to see a '60s Wagoneer, '70s Cherokee Chief, '80s Grand Wagoneer w/ the woodgrain, or a compact XJ Cherokee...
  24. I've read that less than 5% of Suburbans of the '60-66 generation were 4WD.... I've seen a few neat slammed customized 'burbans around here and in So Cal, this kit has lots of potential for that style..
