  1. Same here...I got it in the 80s, same box art, molded in tan..
  2. I read about this a couple years ago...pics all look Photoshopped...I wonder if the company actually has built anything or if it's just vaporware...
  3. It is surprising, considering Aoshima and Fujimi have both done McLarens recently, though mostly race cars (besides Fujimi's F1).
  4. it hasn't been announced. That's why everyone is speculating
  5. McLaren P1 seems like it would be the most obvious choice, if talking about a current production British supercar (the Jaguar and Bentley super cars are concepts)
  6. Yeah, I never thought anything of it...double wall is better anyway, more dent resistant from loads than single wall..
  7. Huh? The Revell Fleetside box is correct, nothing 'Cameo' about it that I can see... the Cameo was a '55-57 box. Why would would it make a difference if the fenders are molded to the box, instead of separate? Plenty of pickup kits have the box and fenders molded as one piece....
  8. Not much difference between the '64, '65, and '66 pickups, is there? Except side badging, maybe? I would assume by Ford GT they mean the 2017 one. The '64 and '65 are nice kits, though I'd love to see them tool up something new, like a '67-68 Chevy step side, for instance...
  9. I'm happy my Broncos are doing well... surprising to see so many undefeated teams at mid-season.
  10. Sharp...I have a similar Classic sedan promo, from '65 IIRC..medium blue. And a Classic wagon, blue w/ a white roof.
  11. It was in Arizona, so it obviously wouldn't be mentioned on your local news..it did make the national news, though...
  12. Didn't feel the earthquakes. Enjoying the cooler weather this week. May drive up north this weekend, see the snow.
  13. Got mine today also...one strange thing I realized while reading it..it's dated August/September, and the Coming Events section has events in October, yet this is November. Something doesn't add up...esp. since I've started getting the December issue of other magazines this week..
  14. 100%. Hood ornaments were tricky and I had to guess on the '52 vs '54 Mercury.
  15. I saw a red one in Monterey, CA last month...really neat little car..looks much better in person than in photos...
  16. Never got the kit, but I remember being in college and going to see the movie w/ friends...I was 19.
  17. Saw a clean light blue w/ white top '57 Thunderbird yesterday, and a clean bright red late '60s 911 today.
  18. IIRC I've been to Andys a couple of times...I rarely ever go to the Westside, so it's out of my way..
  19. That is it, was announced for Q1, but it's not out yet...looks like it's not coming until next April...a bit late now, they should be working on a kit of the 2016 6th gen Camaro instead, IMO...
  20. I can't imagine any kids would be interested in this kit, more an older crowd...
  21. Model companies still do that...maybe less frequently than in olden days, but look at Moebius and the multiple Hudson variations, the '65 Satellite ht and Belvedere sedan, Revell with the '57 Ford Custom and Del Rio, etc...
  22. There is also the '13 Camaro ZL1 (molded in white version) and the Porsche 914/6, both of which are apparently pushed out to 2016..
  23. Maybe items that were announced in Q1, 2, and 3 but were delayed...
  24. Speculating...given that they still have 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarter items yet to be released, I doubt we will see anything new for the 4th quarter...if anything, maybe 1st quarter 2016 items will be announced before the end of the year...
  25. I've been buying the sets from Model Roundup. eBay is a good option also.
