  1. I would assume it is Italeri, as RoG has reboxed their Ferraris before. I have an unbuilt Italeri in the stash also, so I'm not hyped about this release..
  2. Sounds like wishful thinking.
  3. '86 was when the 3rd brake lights appeared in US cars by law, but some people added them to older cars.
  4. The biggest styling difference is the '87-88 had flush composite headlights, smaller grill openings, and reshaped bumpers. Otherwise, it was yearly grill changes.
  5. Because there are plenty of gullible/ill-informed people that will buy it assuming it is 'new'...
  6. Some older airplane kits were tooled like this back then also...I guess they didn't have the technology in the ancient times to recess panel lines.
  7. Cool...maybe someone will tool up a diesel engine also.
  8. Same as the 69 but w 70 grille and trim is what I've read.
  9. Seems like a creepy profession, but I guess they like working with people.
  10. Sources indicate it will be reissued later this month. I've never had any of the previous issues, plan to get one since it's the only one ever done of this subject in 1/25th...
  11. Scale Equipment Ltd. does... I've bought several sets of them...they come as a pair with an inside rear view mirror also.
  12. I am surprised that Monogram didn't make one when they were on their classics kick, a '35-36 would have fit well with their Cord and Deusenberg kits..
  13. 8:30-4:30 is unrealistic, only good for retirees, the unemployed and shutins. They could try stayiing open till 5:30 or 6... oddly, one post office location in the city is open till 9 on weeknights, I use it if I have to mail anything...
  14. I'm a software engineer aka programmer aka 'tech guy in a cubicle'. Currently doing a contract gig at an insurance company in Scottsdale Az. Been in the biz for 18 years, worked in software development in insurance, banking, utilities, aviation, medical systems and other industries for clients in Colorado and Arizona mostly, but also some remote work for clients in California, Loiusiana and the Carribean.
  15. I haven't used a film camera in about a decade, got my first digital around 15 years ago. I hardly use my digital camera anymore--cell phone cameras are so good now that I mostly use my iPhone for most picture taking.
  16. Got the little beige note from the Post Office about having to come in to pick up and sign for a package..what irks me is their limited hours--8:30am-4:30pm which doesn't work for people with a normal work schedule..will have to go in on Saturday (at least they are open then and not closed like many of them are around here).
  17. Hobby Search had them for preorder, they only seem to have the Mehari currently..not seeing the van and tractor currently...I'm sure Hobby Link Japan will have them eventually..
  18. I'd like to see full detail kits of the Challenger Hellcat, Charger Hellcat, Chevy SS, '16 Camaro SS, '16 Mustang GT and Shelby GT350, GT350R, new Ford GT40. But given Revell's fear of new subjects and slowness, and Round 2 and Moiebus' focus on the past, I don't see any of these happening..
  19. That sounds like my world. I'm a software engineer, so I'm in an office in a cubicle with a computer all day...I usually walk to a nearby restaurant or drive somewhere for lunch...
  20. Got back from Cali from a fun but exhausting weekend at Rennsport Reunion V about 6:30 and the moon was large, visible though not dark yet. Watched the Broncos game and got tired and went to bed, missed seeing the moon go red.
  21. I keep my instructions in the model box.
  22. I plant to build it eventually, using a '56 Nomad for parts..
  23. Modelhaus did a '56 Sedan Delivery..I got one a couple years ago...not sure if they still offer it. Edit--checked their '15 catalog, it's not listed. Edit: went back and checked the catalog again, it's still listed, under Sedan Deliveries...I had looked under cars the first time.
  24. On the way back to the office from lunch we almost got hit head on when some moron in a Range Rover turned right against the 'do not enter' signs into the one-way street...
  25. Yep..came here today also, in perfect condition.
