  1. The '78/79 version of that F350 tooling was reissued a couple years ago...
  2. Fun movie..I liked the Herkimer Battle Jitney..
  3. Are you sure it wasn't Revell? The Revell 1980 F150 Ranger 4x4 is being reissued this month...
  4. My yard guys mowed the lawn around 10 am yesterday when it was still cool..only around 105 then. Living in Az one has to suspend disbelief about what constitutes 'warm'. I look forward to the 'cool' weather in late October when the highs are in the 90s again. It's all kind of surreal.
  5. That sounds insane to have to do something like that to correct a manufacturer's screw up on a new tool...
  6. That looks like a 1/24th scale top sitting on a 1/25th scale body..like a Danbury Mint uptop (they did a '68-72 GM convertible w/ an uptop IIRC).
  7. Yeah, it's been warm here the last couple of days... I've been enjoying my pool and otherwise staying inside w/ the A/C down low...
  8. Missing Link resin makes a convertible uptop for the '72 Cutlass that should work.
  9. I wonder how it compares to the AMT (MPC tooling) 65 Coronet... mine is stashed away so I can't get it out and compare it easily.
  10. Anyone compare it w/ the Lindberg '64 Belvedere roof?
  11. It's a neat kit...I built an original issue one back in the '80s.
  12. I do notice this site does have some strangeness with Chrome on Windows 10. When I go to the home page, the 'View New Content' link is gone, and everything displays as one column---the birthdays that used to display in a column on the right are now at the bottom under the list of individual forums.

  14. I checked out the site yesterday, found the Facebook page..that LS V12 looks very interesting to me...that may be the engine I'll use for the C1 resin wide body '67 Camaro kit I recently got..
  15. Doesn't surprise me...all the browsers behave differently in how they handle images. Some better than others. I haven't played around much with Edge (the IE replacement on Win 10) yet, be interesting to see what it does.
  16. Sharp build..love the color choices, wheels & tires and stance
  17. Upgraded my Toshiba laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 tonight...went smoothly, no problems so far. Chrome, Libre Office and Quicken are working fine for me, so far no issues.
  18. Got some heavy rain this evening. Cooled things down a bit. I upgraded my Toshiba Windows laptop to Windows 10. Went very smoothly and so, far so good..no problems yet.
  19. With Chrome on Windows 8, the 'Insert other media' doesn't work...I just get the busy loading image after pasting in a URL to a photo.. meh. I tried on Chrome on my Mac also, doesn't work there either....oh well. Keeps you busy and out of trouble, though.
  20. Yes,Yes the Mustang is nice and all, but WHAT is that black one right next to it? A Holden flatbed Ute? Are those so common they don't register? Or just not flashy enough? Looks like a Holden One Tonner.
  21. I wonder if they will revise the tooling and do the updated 488GTB.. <img src="http://media.caranddriver.com/images/15q1/654924/2016-ferrari-488gtb-photos-and-info-news-car-and-driver-photo-656010-s-original.jpg" />
  22. Saw a clean white late '80s RHD Toyota Soarer coupe, very similar to one on a Tamiya kit box that is in my stash. Also saw a silver Scion xB that had been customized as a Range Rover--RR badging, headlights, grille, etc...
  23. Between the upcoming '65 Mercury Comet and '61 Ventura, and variations of the Ford trucks, Satellite and the Comet and Ventura, I bet they will be busy for the next year or more...
  24. Nice..looking forward to it.. I've been a happy Prime customer for years, and streaming to the TV w/ the Fire TV Stick is pretty easy..
  25. My 15 yr old Jeep and DTS are about as old of a car as I'd want as a daily driver, and they are nearing the end..getting too unreliable. (I should be driving my '11 STS more, but it's in California currently). I couldn't imagine depending on something 25-50 yrs old, in the grind of daily traffic. I've got to have reliability, cold A/C, and all the modern creature comforts as well as modern safety features, brakes and tires. Old cars are neat as a weekend toy to go to car shows with, I wouldn't want one for the daily grind...
