Clean build...love the AMT '67 & '68 annuals.

That happened a few years ago. The current issue is a Round 2 issue, I believe.

Disgusting...hopefully he started w/ a wrecked/junked Z rather than a nice one..

What did you see on the road today?

Saw 4 current Rollers in traffic--black and silver blinged out Phantom on chrome 24 inch wheels, white Ghost, dark blue and silver Phantom Drophead Coupe, and a dark red and silver Wraith (the oh-so-sweet fastback coupe). Also a white Aston Martin DBS V12 coupe. -
I've never bought one as they always looked horrific in the photos I've seen, been tempted as they do have unique subjects, though they seem awfully rough.

I drove the Amalfi Coast in '03 in a Mercedes A140..was quite the drive...scraped mirrors with a car going in the opposite direction at one point. At another point, had to stop and wait for a bus to back up through a village to let the traffic through. Driving in Rome on the same trip was fun also. Traffic signs and lanes seem to be more of a suggestion than a rule in Italy. On the Autostrada I stayed in the middle lane, leaving the left lane open for the fast driving Germans and the right lane open for trucks. On another trip in Italy, I drove an Opel Vectra from Milano up to Lake Como and Lake Maggiore..driving around the lake district was more relaxed than down South...

Yep...I use of Amazon, Netfix and Hulu streaming all the time. If it wasn't for motorsports and the NFL and a few shows I like to see close to the original air time (like Better Call Saul), I'd get rid of cable..

1951 Chevy Business Coupe
Rob Hall replied to Freeman Cars's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
MCW makes a '51 Chevy coupe, Mason City Resin (formerly Resin Realm) makes/made the sedan. I have one. -

The Revell Olds kit is a coupe...the 2dr sedan has a longer roof and longer quarter windows. What confuses the issues is that Revell included decals for a race car that was actually a sedan. -

It would be interesting...I've never driven anything quite that small..smallest car I've driven was a Mercedes A140. I generally don't care for small cars.. -

Saw a very clean black Porsche 928 in traffic tonight...an early one, I believe (before the S4 facelift). -

I've seen 2 in the last week, and they weren't just regular 'ol Smarts--they were the Brabus edition. One silver, one dark gray... Speaking of Teslas, I'd ridden in one the roadsters a couple years ago, finally got to ride in a Model S today--went out to lunch w/ a group from work w/ the woman that has a red one. Very smooth, very quick, very comfortable.. -

A previous generation Acura TL in a matte light blue w/ matte black wheels. Strange. Common in some areas--I see them every day in Phoenix/Scottsdale, less so in other areas. -
That would make a neat 3 n 1 type kit subject like the AMT '37.

I've had to take prescription sleeping pills for 20 years for my insomnia.. I've traveled before and forgotten to pack them and was miserable. I can use Tylenol PM or Alieve PM in a pinch, but they aren't as affective as 500mg of the heavy stuff...I crave good sleep, it ruins my day if don't get at least 7 hours uninterrupted (which is hard to get).

The trim on the rockers ahead of the rear wheel were only on the '67 XR-7 is my understanding...seen some with them. Another model year difference--the '67 had 'cougar' in capital letters on a horizontal block on the rear quarters, '68 had a script. As a kid it was fun studying all the differences between the two years, 3 in my family ('67 base 289, '68 base 302, '68 XR-7 390).

My most recent McD story... I do like their bacon egg and cheese biscuit sandwich and coffee once in a while. One morning last week, I was going through the drive through at 6am..two young women were at the drive through window, one taking orders and one making coffee..they bumped into each other and started fighting--screaming obsenities at each other and pulling hair...like something from the Jerry Springer show. The shift manager broke it up and got me my sandwich and coffee....

My sister is here in Phoenix also--been here off and on for 35 years, but she wants to move to the East Coast for work, so that's another plus for me for Ohio/Pa...

beautiful build..love those kits.

Ideally, I'd like to move back to Denver, or to So Cal, Seattle or Boston--all have strong tech job markets and are very appealing to me--interesting metro areas with lots to do, lots of culture and better climates IMO. But my Mom and brother aren't getting any younger (and they won't move) and I'd like to live closer to them, see them more often, so probably Pittsburgh, Columbus or Cleveland, all of which are equidistant to the family farm and have major hub airports and viable career opportunities--I still have 20 years or so until retirement. And I do love driving the back roads in E. Ohio/ W. Pa... plus being back there I can go to the Indy 500 more often. Being originally from there, snow/ice/cold/gray doesn't bother me..I'd trade up to a new Jeep.

Seems like it would make a great resin master for Missing Link or Motor City Resin... would fit well w/ their other 70s subjects.
