  1. Saw that..the '67 Corvette reissue is on the bottom left, what appears to be a drag version of the '58/59 or '62 Corvette is in the top middle...top right looks like maybe Revell's New Beetle kit w/ custom wheels, a semi truck cab on the bottom right..
  2. It's a big difference between an individual doing something, and a product development team in a company...don't they QA their designs before and after tooling them up? Where is the accountability for product quality and accuracy?
  3. I've heard that the link-belt shovel was another ghost kit.
  4. The yellow and green builtups are sweet.
  5. Don't think I've ever seen the MPC large scale C2 Corvettes, only familiar w/ the Revell ones. That stock '63 looks sweet to me.
  6. Never seen the garbage truck kit in person..have read in several articles that it was announced but never released.
  7. The '90s era tooling 1/25th scale Lindbergs are all pretty nice ('53 Ford, '61 Impala, '64 Dodge, '64 Plymouth, '66 Olds Cutlass, '66 Chevelle) though the Olds has some issues w/ interior depth. The '90s era 1/25th scale snap kits (Chrysler Atlantic, Sebring convertible, Dodge Caravan, Dodge Dakota) are nice also.
  8. All '85-86 Mustangs had amber rear turn signals, IIRC. The '87-93 LX in coupe, convertible, and hatchback forms all had the same taillight design, don't recall any having amber elements. My '87 GT and '86 LX back in the day: random '87-93 LX taillight pics..
  9. Lindberg '64 Plymouth 'Lawman'.
  10. AMT Ford C600 Gar-Wood garbage truck
  11. I'm pretty sure there is no difference in 1:1 as far the taillights between the 3 body styles. At least not any differences that would be noticable in scale. The upcoming Revell kit will be the first kit w/ '87-93 LX taillights. (I had a 1:1 '86 LX notchback for 6 years along w/ my '87 GT hatchback, but I never took them apart and tried swapping parts..
  12. You miss the point...would you prefer new kits have Palmer level quality? Revell needs to raise their game, take accuracy more seriously.
  13. Post #4 and #5 mention it.
  14. 1/24th & 1/25, followed by 1/20th (F1 cars). Though I've dabbled in other scales over the years.
  15. That 2dr wagon would be neat to see... as far as other bodystyles, there are several nice resin bodies currently available that work w/ the modern Revell tri-fives....'56 sedan delivery, '56 Bel Air 2dr ht, '57 Nomad, '57 150 4dr sedan..
  16. I'd like to make a trip to the NNL East sometime...been to the NNL West a couple times, will be in So Cal next weekend.
  17. Sweet..got some serious wing going on there.
  18. Beautiful...I have an older promo of this car in cream w/ a black top w a 'Tournament of Roses' parade decal.
  19. Agreed...I don't get the appeal of such junk...as dreadful as that 'freakshow' 1:1 Chrysler/Chevy truck abomination. I guess there is no accounting for taste in the custom car world.
  20. Nice to see an uptop. Hopefully a regular rear bumper will be included also...not a fan of continental kits.
  21. Yeah, the climate here is so different from the rest of the country, it's hard to even compare.
  22. climate change.
  23. Sweet....got to build mine eventually.
  24. Bummed that I'm going to miss it this year..out of town that weekend.
  25. The Mustang LX 5.0 has had a cult following for over 25 years now and never been kitted before (though several resin kits have come and gone). This kit should have interest amongst replica stock, police car, and drag car builders...I just hope Revell has cleaned up some of the issues that were seen w/ the first shots from last year.....
