  1. Interesting...I've heard the song, never seen that pic...looks like a '65 or '66 convertible w/ a later hood, a 4dr ht left front door, and a '50s left front fender.
  2. Sharp..looking forward to both of those.
  3. 'murdered out' is when everything is painted matte black, I think...
  4. Great video...my favorite of his series so far is the one filmed at the old race track in France...Montlhery... Huh? That's silly...this car is a race car..as real as any other race car...like a NASCAR race car, Indy car, F1 car, drag car, etc...
  5. Yes, the Cyclone has different quarter panels, front fenders and hood. I'd love to see Revell tool up a stock '68-69 Cyclone GT..one of the gaps in musclecar kits for 40+ years.
  6. The 2nd and 3rd issues were around '04 and and '07 IIRC...both releases had red cars on the boxes..
  7. Revell should update their website then...
  8. IIRC, the Hardcastle & McCormick kit had a step bed like all the earlier MPC issues..the Fall Guy version (and the reissue about 10 years ago) were the only fleetside MPC Chevy/GMC truck kits of that generation.
  9. The pattern I've observed is that if Revell says it is a July release, that means it will be at the preferred partner shops around the 25th of the month and everywhere else within about 2 weeks..i.e. early in the following month.
  10. Some sharp builds there...like the color and wheel choices..
  11. Revell. http://www.revell.com/new.html
  12. I assume it's just a straight reissue of the last issue. Not sure if the reissues had some parts deleted from the original ProModeler issue.
  13. Saw this article over the weekend..police stopped a guy driving a junker Pinto wagon that had a gas jug in place of the passenger seat and a hose connected from the jug to the carby. What a moron! http://jalopnik.com/5924130/how-was-anyone-driving-this-ridiculously-unsafe-car-on-the-highway/gallery/1?tag=lolcars
  14. I remember him from 'Airwolf'...most recent film I saw him in was a small role in 'Red' a couple years ago..
  15. Since it's been 80 years since the '32s were made and longer since the A's were made, can't imagine there are too many original ones left..
  16. With Revell, August means last week of August at the preferred partner shops, September elsewhere...
  17. Got the Revell '65 Impala convertible reissue and the AMT whitewall tire set today.
  18. 2012. I've seen it listed on at least one dealer site as late August (i.e. September) but who knows how accurate that is.
  19. It's definitely a great escape...though I never seem to finish anything, I spend my hobby time in the hunt and buying kits mostly. My work is very mental, fast-paced and at times exhausting w/ long hours.
  20. Which is so boring... I like those subjects, but there are so many other modern subjects that should be kitted also...instead we get '50s Hudsons. Sad times for the hobby. The hobby won't survive if they only target the AARP crowd.
  21. No...though I've tried to build models of the cars I've owned, though most of the cars I've had were only available in diecast or not at all.
