    Looks much the same as past issues...I've built a few of these from the 'Countdown Series' issue onward. The boot is there from the original '60s tooling---AMT did convertible and 2+2 kits back in '65 and '66, the coupe body came later--based on the promo body, I assume. I like the vintage style box art.

    Front and rear fascia, grille, hood, roof paint, wheels,seats, maybe some engine details...

    It's hideous and tacky, but in it's own way no worse than a lot of the nonsense that's been done in the 1:1 Pro Street style cars...

    And funds...it appears Okey's operation was chronically undercapitalized..an effort like this requires a lot of capital.

    Since Ford is a sponsor of Block's endeavours, obviously they are going to use a race car based on a current Ford product. It wouldn't make any sense to use an old car.

    I have a bunch of unbuilt RoG, Tamiya and Fujimi Ferraris...want to build them eventually, and avoid red as much as possible.. I like the offbeat colors.

    It's interesting that after many decades Ts, As, and 32s remain popular for hot rodders. I assume the reason they were popular originally with rodders is they were at one time cheap and readily available compared to similar models from Chevy, Plymouth, etc?

    Interesting...I've heard the song, never seen that pic...looks like a '65 or '66 convertible w/ a later hood, a 4dr ht left front door, and a '50s left front fender.

    Great video...my favorite of his series so far is the one filmed at the old race track in France...Montlhery... Huh? That's silly...this car is a race car..as real as any other race car...like a NASCAR race car, Indy car, F1 car, drag car, etc...

    Yes, the Cyclone has different quarter panels, front fenders and hood. I'd love to see Revell tool up a stock '68-69 Cyclone GT..one of the gaps in musclecar kits for 40+ years.

    The 2nd and 3rd issues were around '04 and and '07 IIRC...both releases had red cars on the boxes..

    IIRC, the Hardcastle & McCormick kit had a step bed like all the earlier MPC issues..the Fall Guy version (and the reissue about 10 years ago) were the only fleetside MPC Chevy/GMC truck kits of that generation.

    The pattern I've observed is that if Revell says it is a July release, that means it will be at the preferred partner shops around the 25th of the month and everywhere else within about 2 weeks..i.e. early in the following month.

    I assume it's just a straight reissue of the last issue. Not sure if the reissues had some parts deleted from the original ProModeler issue.
