  1. A Valiant 2dr would be neat to see...surprised we haven't seen on in resin. Would need an interior also. I'd like to see a '70 Valiant 4dr sedan to replicate a famous movie car...
  2. That's the norm in American colleges...I was in a wild and crazy 3-person room my freshman year then a 2 person room my sophomore year.
  3. I hung out in rec.models.scale and rec.toys.cars for many years... 1988 until 1997 or so...and always bought model car magazines and looked at pics of models.
  4. -Too busy w/ classes, study, all the other things one does in college, etc... -roommates that will destroy anything of yours -restrictions on power tools and chemicals (paints, etc). I didn't do any modeling when I was living in the dorms my freshman/sophomore years....once I moved into my own apartment for my junior/senior years I did a little modeling, but mostly was too busy to do much. I did a bit more in grad school, but also had way too many other distractions then....
  5. The rigid fan belt holds it in place..
  6. Something like this, maybe..
  7. I think that was a back seat area insert for the racing version. So are we seeing trees for two different releases--i.e. the initial stock & race version, and a 2nd stock & street machine/custom version? Or a change in plans? Hmm....
  8. Wow...
  9. I wonder when or if we will see anything new from Lindberg...that police version of the Charger seems like it took 5 years or so since their Charger kit first came out..
  10. Wild...this was it's sequel, Star Streak II..
  11. That seems high...considering the obscure subject matter..can't imagine that subject selling very many..
  12. Nope..those are trucks. Nothing car about them. El Caminos, Rancheros, etc are cars.
  13. Nope...the Continentals were still unibody construction through '69. About the only thing close in modern tooling (and it would probably require tweaks) would be the AMT '62 Thunderbird convertible.
  14. Interesting design...reminds me a lot of some Hot Wheels, Nylint and Tonka trucks of the era....
  15. Neat kit...I have one of these in my stash, partially built, along w/ a '68, 2 '67s (one to convert to a convertible), and a '66.
  16. Sharp Dart.
  17. I assume this will have also have the '75 parts tooled up (the '75 has a different grille, parking lights, headlight bezels and probably some other parts)...since the front cap is a separate part on the re-issued/retooled '76 kit, I assume they had this variation in mind...
  18. Speaking of '50 Olds bodystyles, I stumbled across this on a GM forum....don't know if it's a phantom or not, but pretty neat..
  19. Yep..that show was a favorite of mine as a kid..
  20. Sharp build.
  21. The roof would be the same between the '69-71 300 and Fury, but that's about it. The rest of the body panels, interior, and wheelbase would be different.
  22. Sharp build..
