  1. Got a bunch on the ground, still coming down.
  2. Been snowing a couple hours here. A couple inches on the ground, forecast is 6-8 inches by noon tomorrow. A pic of deer in my front yard a few min ago.
  3. I definitely prefer it cold. I did drink warm Guinness in Ireland and the UK when on vacation years ago, but generally prefer it cold. The worst experience with warm (or intentionally warmed alcoholic beverage) was mulled wine....a slight taste caused an intense gag reflex--couldn't drink it, smelled like turpentine.
  4. Was 12F and sunny here outside Cleveland when I got up this morning, up to 17 now. Supposed to get to 35 in the afternoon. Still no snow...
  5. Well, it seems most everything new is white, black or silver nowadays...so not far from that..
  6. Sunny and 20 today, had a dusting of snow last night. Supposed to get some snow Sunday night and Monday, though...
  7. Yes, should look like this:
  8. 76 was the last year for the 454 in the full sizers. Not sure how visually it would differ from an early 70s one (maybe the exhaust?)
  9. I haven't bought from them, but I've bought from Jumblies in the UK a couple of times, found them to be reasonable on shipping costs (roughly $15 per kit IIRC) and I got kits from them in less than 3 weeks last year.. https://www.jumbliesmodels.com
  10. There is a variety of cheese made here in Ohio..not sure how it compares to Wisconsin, but I've enjoyed the selection here. Jams and jellies also are a big thing here. I've visited Grandpa's Cheese Barn a couple times, huge place of I-71 w/ a huge selection of Central Ohio cheeses and jams..good stuff.
  11. Probably someone unfamiliar w/ the subject grabbed a pic off the internet to represent the product (since Revell probably hasn't released box art images yet).
  12. Neat hot rod tractor!!
  13. There are a number of beers I enjoy from my local brewer Great Lakes Brewing Company in Cleveland. Used to go there and hang out to sample the beer and grub in the before-covid time. I remember enjoying the brew pub scene when I lived in Colorado, lots of excellent beers from Front Range brewers like New Belgium's Fat Tire, Oskar Blues 'Old Chub' (A Scottish (style?) strong ale--interesting taste). My company hangout in the '00s for years was The Bull & Bush, an authentic English pub that was torn down and rebuilt in Glendale, Colorado..right behind my office. The office later moved to near where I lived, and I'd walk to a brewpub in the Denver Tech Center (that was new and fancy but didn't have the charm of the B&B). I always enjoy a good Hefeweizen in the fall. And when in San Francisco, I enjoyed Anchor Steam. Had some good local beers when I lived in Phoenix also--in Tempe, I used to walk from my office over to Four Peaks Brewing Company for lunch or happy hour... I do miss pub culture...working from home is great in many ways, but I miss the social aspects of work and happy hours..
  14. As seen on a 1:1 in Brian Austin's post right above yours. Unusual looking lights. If they eventually do a stockish ambulance, I hope they will include some whitewalls and wheel covers.
  15. Yeah, I can't imagine it would be very noticeable... sitting here at my desk in my home office, I can see a Revell '72 Cutlass and an '83 Cutlass on my shelves...have to compare the 455 and 307 to see how they compare visually..
  16. Sad to hear... I remember him in a few episodes of 'Entourage' about 15 years ago as a fictional version of himself...funny guy.
  17. No surprises, Round 2 did the new front end parts and wheels tooling for the JB kit, so I assumed this would be the same, just new box art and decals...
  18. Hasn't the AMT version only had a race car interior since it was first reissued as the 'Macho Mustang' in the late 70s? I don't recall seeing one with a stock interior in the reissues in recent history...
  19. Yeah, either generation of GM pickups have lots of possibilities for new tooling and variations. Would love to see them. ‘61-71 Dodges would be nice also.
  20. Very cool Gremlins...now I'm getting the urge to kit bash one with a Jeep and do a desert Baja style racer...
  21. It just seems odd that Ed would give out internal corporate info to an outsider...
  22. Yes, that. I have that box, but it's empty...
  23. Heh, heh isn't that special.
  24. Per Wikipedia, the '70 442 was available only in fastback (ht and pillared) and convertible trim. The formal roofline (Holiday coupe) was only available on the Cutlass Supreme. (The SX was a package on the Supreme). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oldsmobile_Cutlass
  25. That's a big statement. I didn't realize you worked for Revell and inventoried their tooling.
