My next door neighbor has no tree in his front yard, but one side of his yard adjoins mine and I have a huge oak..big enough to reach over my driveway and his...and it's similar with is neighbor on his other side...so he gets a lot of my leaves and the other neighbor's leaves...and the acorns..so many acorns accumulate on the edges of the driveways..was out w/ my leaf blower/vacuum/mulcher this weekend attacking the leaves, but too much of that and the vibration killed me...also got my covid booster shot this weekend, no ill effects from that, but sore all over from a little yard work...

1/25 Revell F&F Brian's Ford F-150 SVT Lightning
Rob Hall replied to Casey's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Interesting, though it's Brian's truck, Dom/Vin is on the box art...guess they couldn't license Paul Walker's likeness from his estate.- 21 replies

The box art was bad on a lot of AMT kits in that era (2004)...like they put in the bare minimum of effort.

Which Jaguar XKEs Are Better?
Rob Hall replied to Miatatom's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I am surprised the later V12 roadster or coupe (or the 2+2 coupe) have never been kitted...a V12 would be neat. -
Yeah, and it looks like it says 'ala-Impala' on the side. Neat, never seen that one..

Some of the Nov releases have been pushed back to Dec (Surf Shark Cadillac, '63 Chevy II wagon w/ trailer, '74 Vega Pro Stock), so I suspect the items in this video will be Dec or Jan releases at this point...
-
IIRC, that kit has usually been offered in 3 n 1 format--stock, drag, custom.
-
I assume it's the same ol', same 'ol '58 maybe with new decals, maybe they named the custom version or drag version?

FACEBOOK: I couldn't have said it better...

Most every weekend when the weather is nice I go to a lake, beach or the woods here in NE Ohio for sightseeing and relaxing in nature. Pretty much only use my phone for navigation and taking pics. I think I’m going to get an RV and start camping. -
Looking forward to the Bronco.. I have the MK reissue from the '00s, but can use a couple more...
-
I don’t have my originals handy to compare, but the convertible (right) seems to have bigger gaps than the ht frame (left)

What did you see on the road today?

That reminds me, went past a salvage yard near Geneva, Ohio yesterday that has some oldies out front incl some 70s Lincolns, and there was clean gold Chevette (‘79 I think). -
I think so.

They probably could have sold at least a half dozen to people on MCM. I’d get one.
-
Yeah, but Round 2 is probably 90% US or more. So they play to what the boomers want with their reissues. Which is successful for them.
-
They aren't a US company, so they have a global audience they are playing to...and low volume niche subjects seems to be their thing...
-
45 years ago..(issued in '76)..the brass era subjects probably have a very, very small following. I kind of like them, something different from the same ol', same ol'. I have an unbuilt Thomas Flyer, wouldn't mind having the Stutz to go with it.

A typo and the OP didn't go back and edit it?

Had a nice sunny day yesterday, went for a drive and saw more covered bridges and visited a couple of my favorite beaches up in Ashtabula County (far NE Ohio). Saw this nice rumbly Challenger at one of the bridges... -
IIRC, MPCs '75 and '76 Road Runners had them.. I don't know if they were reused in other kits later.
