  1. Looking forward to the Bronco.. I have the MK reissue from the '00s, but can use a couple more...
  2. I don’t have my originals handy to compare, but the convertible (right) seems to have bigger gaps than the ht frame (left)
  3. That reminds me, went past a salvage yard near Geneva, Ohio yesterday that has some oldies out front incl some 70s Lincolns, and there was clean gold Chevette (‘79 I think).
  4. I think so.
  5. They probably could have sold at least a half dozen to people on MCM. I’d get one.
  6. Yeah, but Round 2 is probably 90% US or more. So they play to what the boomers want with their reissues. Which is successful for them.
  7. They aren't a US company, so they have a global audience they are playing to...and low volume niche subjects seems to be their thing...
  8. 45 years ago..(issued in '76)..the brass era subjects probably have a very, very small following. I kind of like them, something different from the same ol', same ol'. I have an unbuilt Thomas Flyer, wouldn't mind having the Stutz to go with it.
  9. I used to do that when I lived in Colorado w/ my Jeep, because inevitably storms would come in during the afternoon when I was at work.
  10. A typo and the OP didn't go back and edit it?
  11. Had a nice sunny day yesterday, went for a drive and saw more covered bridges and visited a couple of my favorite beaches up in Ashtabula County (far NE Ohio). Saw this nice rumbly Challenger at one of the bridges...
  12. IIRC, MPCs '75 and '76 Road Runners had them.. I don't know if they were reused in other kits later.
  13. The Hailibrand wheels are in the 2nd issue of the roadster. For the 2nd issues, they swapped the engine and wheel options between the roadster and coupe.
  14. IIRC, because MPC got the Chevy promo contract for ‘68, AMT had only custom versions of some ‘68 Chevy and Pontiac subjects (Impala, Corvette, Camaro and Firebird, I think) and not stock annuals.
  15. Got 2 of the new release AMT '64 Cutlass 442 hts in the mail today from Spotlight Hobbies.
  16. Neat...something different.
  17. Should be the same as the 007 release a while back...maybe new decals?
  18. Arrived today in NE Ohio. Nice to see them bagged again.
  19. Looking good..neat looking cab...googling turned up this article on Bruce Canepa's car hauler based on a 372.. https://www.thedrive.com/news/33508/you-wont-find-a-greater-car-hauler-than-this-aero-bodied-canepa-peterbilt
  20. Ha…I remember noticing parking spaces that seemed smaller than normal in parts of San Diego when I used to go there when I lived in Phoenix. My DTS was a tight fit in some places, as was a rental Yukon I had one weekend. I used to drive over several times a year, usually to Pacific Beach…
  21. Just the way it is. Thick pillars and small windows for better crash structure and roll over protection, I assume.
  22. The view from the camera is better than looking back w/ the huge pillars and small side and rear windows.
  23. My '14 Jeep has a back up camera and proximity sensors on the rear bumper, pretty convenient in backing out...I think blind spot alert/cross traffic warning are options on the newer ones.
  24. The Z06 convertible looks great in that dark red w/ tan interior...would love to see a model of it (though I'm sure there will be plenty of diecast eventually). I played around with Chevy's 'virtualizer' tool and came up with the spec I like--in Caffeine w/ natural (tan) leather interior, no carbon fiber trim, and bronze wheels..sweeet...
  25. The 2021 would make no sense, as the 2021 season is almost over and a new car is coming for 2022.
