  1. Sad. He was very funny during a funny era of SNL.
  2. I love Miami and the Keys..lived in Marathon in the Keys from '81-88 through middle school and high school. Used to go to Miami on the weekends. Haven't been back in years, it's changed a lot.
  3. I got a while back. It’s neat to browse the older issues.
  4. That’s going to be sharp.
  5. Had a few straight 6s over the years...the Jeep 4.0 was pretty durable, put 170k on my '00 GC with that engine..leaked oil a bit past 100k and had many electrical issues, but the engine itself was fine. Also had a BMW w/ the S52 3.2 straight 6, great engine, and drove a Mercedes W124 300CE quite a bit w/ the 3.0 6...
  6. Well, it definitely looks like a 'funny car'...now if that is funny ha ha or funny weird is in the eye of the beholder, I think...
  7. Says a Hemi also... no idea if Hemi or Ford drag engines in Camaro funny cars was a thing in real life...it's not a real Camaro anyway, just a cartoon body.
  8. It's a mid 80s 300ZX on stock wheels. 240 was early 70s.
  9. Also not present is the upvote and downvote (green up arrow, red down arrow) as seen on other forums using this software. The down arrow would lead to much agita here, I'm afraid.
  10. Nice Z...very similar to the '85 my sister had in the mid to late 80s. Same color. I remember driving that car right after I got my driver's license and I visited her in Arizona (I was living in S Florida then). Hers had a manual.
  11. Or the worst...someone quotes a post w/ 5 photos to add a one word reply. The 'like' button when used judiciously can eliminate a lot of that clutter.
  12. I do know that decaling a truck and trailer with a random unrelated pop culture, movie, or tv show motif has been a thing with diecast trucks for a while, guess they are trying that with models now.
  13. Maybe they will do a Rat Fink version.
  14. No idea. It’s probably mythical.
  15. According to the listing on Stevens International, it’s the Fruehauf Beaded Panel trailer….currently out in Miller Beer livery, previously in Coca-Cola, etc.
  16. ...and lots of small hatchbacks. In the US, the lot would be full of pickups and SUVs, with a few sedans..
  17. Not sure..may have been a rebox, I don't have it and Scalemates doesn't have any info on it's origin under Revell....edit: they do have the origin under Italeri, though...was last reissued in 2013. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/italeri-3682-porsche-911-turbo--228006
  18. Revell had a 1996 911 Turbo coupe, but it doesn't seem to have been reissued since new. Their 993 cabrio has been reissued.
  19. Yeah, who knows. Someone must have thought it was a good idea. I have no interest in any Rat Fink stuff (too weird, before my time), and already have the regular issue truck on order, so I'm not the target customer.
  20. One resin part I've looked for before but haven't found is a flat hood for the '70-72 Chevelles...
  21. Licensing + rebox of existing kit = easy profit
  22. Maybe a Waste Management or BFI branded version. Barone Sanitation decals would be neat also.
  23. One, unless some one is specifically into garbage trucks. Same with a wrecker or other body types, I’d think.
  24. ...and the post count doesn't show on phones. Have to go to a user's profile to see their post count on mobile.
  25. The 'lost kit' angle of the garbage truck is something they can use to hype sales, since the garbage truck was something announced almost 50 years ago but never produced. A wrecker would be interesting, but that would be a new venture w/o the 'lost kit' angle.
