I had one last week I caught on my Ring cameras as it was being left—FedEx driver left one of the dry ice containers from Omaha Steaks and I ran out to the truck before they left, was for a house down the street..driver had transposed 2 digits of the house number.

Went to my office yesterday to meet my team after almost 6 months of working remote...it's a 40 min drive, so I won't be going in often, but maybe once a month or so as needed. The office is downtown Cuyahoga Falls, Oh along the river, lots of nice restaurants and brewpubs nearby. While walking to lunch, went past the Clifford Mini Auto Museum--going to have to check it out when I have more time. It's an old gas station and garage that's been made into an automobila museum w/ an Oldsmobile focus--saw a yellow '56 2dr ht and a tan '60 4dr sedan in the bays with the roll up doors open (beautiful summer afternoon). I generally haven't had many issues w/ the carriers...Fed Ex I usually use for overseas orders from Hobby Link Japan and others, and Home Depot home delivery (free delivery is nice). Got a couple boxes today w/ small boxwood shrubberies to plant along my back fence, one box was pretty smashed but the shrub was fine.

Didn't get pics as I was driving, but saw a very clean black '71 Torino 2dr w/ black vinyl top and Magnum 500 wheels, and a very clean black 2007ish Saleen S281 Mustang--haven't seen one since they were new.

Interesting... it is fun to think of strange factoids like that...like I'm now 1 year older than my Dad was when I was born, and he would 100 this year.

Having time to do a lot of cooking is a luxury. Maybe in retirement some day.

I can cook a bit and enjoy grilling burgers, hot dogs, steaks etc in the summer, but if I want a good pizza, Thai curry, Indian tikka masala, tacos, etc I get it delivered or take out..

Yeah, I wonder if the issue comes from cramming the parts into an NA box instead lf the wider, flatter EU style box. I don't see this issue w/ the convertible version.

I've found Grubhub to be consistently more error-free than Doordash...never sure if the error is with the service or the restaurants. I do like food delivery, makes sense in bad weather or busy days when I don't feel like driving 4-10 miles to a specific restaurant. Hard to beat the convenience of food delivered to the door...

Next release of the new truck kit, with new decals and box art, sounds like.

Got a good checkup at my ophthalmologist today. A concern last month about possible glaucoma is not an issue after a month of eye drops.

Haven't seen the coupe yet from any of my usual online vendors...I did get the new roadster kit last month from Model Roundup for my birthday...looks good..molded in dk green, tan and gray.

Hmmm...these look similar to some resin ones I got to use on the AMT Ford van. Can't remember where I got them from..one of the Detroit area casters, IIRC. When I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee in Phoenix in 2017, I couldn't believe what a high percentage were black (mine is metallic black)...the selection at the dealer were all black or white (I hate white). I remember going to my neighborhood car wash on a Saturday and most of the SUVs going through were black....Acuras, Jeeps, Mercedes MLs, Audi Q5s, BMW X5s, etc...had I stayed in AZ I would have hunted down a different color like dark red or brown, but I was in the process of moving to Ohio and in a hurry as my old Jeep was dying.

Speaking of big banks, I worked for Wells Fargo in software development for a couple of years a decade ago in Arizona. Horrible place to work. A lot of poorly documented, poorly implemented systems. 65-75 hr work weeks. Production support calls in the middle of the night. Incompetent management, and literal death marches—on a team of 25 people—there were 3 heart attacks (one fatal) in 6 months. I left after that and went someplace worse that paid better.

Or back to a ‘72, the last stock version. Been about 45 years since the Sweethogs version came out.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the Cutlass return...given that it's not a Chevy I was doubtful Round 2 would retool it. Maybe the '65 Olds 88 and '66 Buick GS can be reengineered in a similar manner.. I have one original of each of those two, but new ones would be great.

Definitely seems to be an inexact science. My Dad was a weatherman in the Army in WW II and spent years in Miami and the US Virgin Islands. I remember as a kid talking with him about the different types of clouds and storm patterns.
