  1. I think the poster thinks this is a real car site, and not a model car site...
  2. Yes, new tooling. There is a coupe coming also...
  3. With that grille, it looks like an 1981 or 1982.
  4. And in so many movies, the bad guys are completely inept shots..
  5. Incredible craftsmanship. Speaking of carving, there is an excellent museum in Dover, Ohio with the work of local carver Earnest Warther. Haven't been in 30 years, need to visit again...one of the highlights are the carved trains. https://www.ohiomagazine.com/ohio-life/article/the-legacy-of-master-carver-ernest-warther
  6. Got mine today...in the bag, but the mail person folded it to fit in the mail slot.
  7. Yeah, 67 had a badge that spelled out Cougar in block letters in a black frame while the ‘68 had a Cougar script and the side marker there.
  8. The new Z or new BRZ or 86 seem the most predictable. Maybe a new Ferrari? Or a Porsche Taycan? A 992 generation 911 (the new GT3, maybe) would be nice. I’d like to see a Lexus LC but think it’s unlikely..
  9. It's too bad the '64-65 Buick midsize was never kitted. There was a very clean yellow '65 Skylark 2dr ht I used to see daily in my commute in Phoenix.. good looking car.
  10. Sad to hear. I had read he wasn’t going to be on the upcoming tour. I’m glad I got to see the Stones twice over the years…I had tickets for the Cleveland show last year but it got cancelled.
  11. Heh heh. I credit my older brother and sister getting me into Pink Floyd (and classic rock in general). They are both Baby Boomers, 21 and 13 years older than me, and I listened to a lot of their records and tapes as a kid when they were home…
  12. I saw them on the Division Bell tour, great show at the old Cleveland Stadium in May 1994...last concert I saw w/ my Kent State college buddies, right before I moved to Ann Arbor, Mi for grad school. Great show. One of the best shows I've been to was in 2006 on David Gilmour's 'On An Island' solo tour at the late Gibson Amphitheatre in LA (Universal City). Beautiful small venue, great sound, Richard Wright and Nick Mason were with him, as was David Crosby and Graham Nash on a couple songs. Gilmour closed the show with 'Comfortably Numb'...
  13. 'The Division Bell' I've probably listened to more than any other album...it was very much a part of the soundtrack of my mid 20s when I was in grad school..still love to listen to it when driving, or loud at home... I love 'Momentary Lapse of Reason' as well, 1987 was a year of some of my favorite albums from multiple musicians/bands. Other favorite albums include 'Dark Side of the Moon', 'Wish You Were Here', 'The Wall', and 'The Final Cut'...
  14. One of my favorite bands. I’ve been a fan since the mid 80s. I love a lot of their 70s and 80s work, and some of my favorites are they two albums they made without Roger Waters. The Division Bell is one of my all time favorite albums. I saw them on the last tour in ‘94, and have seen David Gilmour solo twice. Love his guitar playing. I’ve got a few t-shirts, DVDs/Blu Rays of various concerts, the neat Pulse live DVD with the LED light (after 25 years, I need to replace the battery).
  15. My favorite Countaches are still the 80s ones with the fender flares and large rear wing. Iconic. The new one seems to look too much like an Aventador with custom body work.
  16. Even after 4 years driving it, I still have to look at it. When I first bought it, I found myself going into neutral instead of reverse often. I need to get back into driving manuals, my first 14 or so years of driving I only had manual cars and a manual SUV...at one point in my late 20s ('98-00) I owned 3 manuals.
  17. It’s quite easy. I’m a Gen-Xer, have driven modern vehicles with buttons or rotary dials for gear selection, quite easy. I like the rotary dials, they free up space on the console. My Jeep has a rather odd shifter—moves forward or back for the gear, but it pops back to a fixed place. I think they only used that shifter for 2 years.
  18. I recall many threads on here when the Rat Roaster came out that said it was a new tool.
  19. I like the 80s versions of that Cobra w/ the Real Riders rubber tires and metal bottom. I have a blue & white one and a red one w/ yellow stripes.
  20. Likely not that much different than the push button automatics of today (as seen on various GMC SUVs, various Lincolns, etc).
  21. I'm happy and used to modern cars and SUVs, love my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it's pretty loaded w/ goodies (though the new generation w/ the optional MacIntosh sound system sounds like what I want next for a daily driver). There are several cars I've had in the past and other older cars I wouldn't mind having, though....my sweet spot for old cars is mid 80s to early 00s, wouldn't want anything w/ carburetors or points or other fiddly old tech. Wouldn't mind having another '80s Fox Mustang 5.0, an early Acura Legend 2dr, another BMW E36 M3, an BMW E39 M5, or another 80s Mercedes S-class or E-class...
  22. Lots of good stuff to cover a lot of interests...looking forward to the '69 Camaro SS, '71 Olds, and the Porsches, and the Moebius vehicles.
  23. Neat...there is a two-story McDonalds near me. I've also eaten at a two-story McDonalds in Rome, Italy. The one near me (Independence, Ohio) looks like a bank... https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/ohio/no-other-mcdonalds-in-the-world-oh/
