  1. It's there, but back at the regular price now. https://kalmbachhobbystore.com/catalog/videos?topics=3c47f6cd118940dd864bd83e481245d7&utm_source=Yesmail&utm_medium=email&utm_email=robert@robwhall.com&utm_campaign=SA000_HBS_201002_P38572_SCADVDSale_SCA
  2. Got the Scale Auto 1979-2013 complete issues DVD in the mail today...Kalmbach had it 50% off on their site last week, had to have it (I have the print issues from 1988 to 2015 and digital from 2015 to present).
  3. i remember building the original issue as a teenager, it was molded in a metallic dark blue...built the Monogram Challenger T/A around the same time, it was in a metallic red...IIRC, both those kits included a packet of Turtle Wax.
  4. Definitely interested in the Jag and VW camper. Have older issues of the Chevy, Super Bee and Van. Maybe on the S10.
  5. It's just a reissue...probably 1st quarter 2021...nothing to get upset about...
  6. Been 20 years since that one was last out IIRC.
  7. I’d assume it’s the AMT fleetside longbed.
  8. It depends on the vehicle, and the specific tires and wheels. I think they can look great on vintage cars or trucks built in a restomod/Pro Touring/G-Machine style. And modern performance cars would look strange with wheels smaller than 18-20 inches because of the large wheel wells and large brakes. I like the look of these '69 Mustangs w/ modern wheels and tires. Or this truck.
  9. My E36 was only 2 years old w/ 16k miles when I bought it, no rust while I owned it.
  10. My E36 M3 was reliable for the most part, I should have kept it but I didn't have any place to store it after a move...
  11. I love the original 8 series styling...also the original 6 series. Wish I had bought one of the Revell 8 series kits back in the day, they seem unobtainium now..The 3rd gen (E38) 7-series is one of my favorites, too bad there has never been a kit.. And the E39 5-series, esp. the M5...wasn't kitted either.
  12. Maybe they will do the performance version (spicy Sriracha chicken).
  13. I've been lucky w/ orders from vendors in Japan and HK over the years, had a few lightly dented boxes but nothing serious.
  14. I have this and the Tomica diecast one on order from HLJ. I wonder when will someone will build a Pro Stock or Pro Touring style Noodle Cup...or do it Tom Daniels style.
  15. I enjoyed the ‘96 E36 M3 I had in the late 90s-early 00s. I wouldn’t mind having an E39 M5 or an E46 M3. I like them before they became excessively complicated and fragile (the mid to late 00s BMWs are horrific as used cars).
  16. I already have a builtup annual w/ the engine, but may get this...could be interesting w/ a change of wheels and tires.
  17. Yeah, I only opened one of mine, and it was fine...dare I open the 2nd one...
  18. Sort of a retro modern touch, inspired by '60s BMW grilles, I assume...
  19. The 3rd and final season was picked up by Netflix last year. Was pretty good.
  20. Typo..I meant the Corvette. The Challenger I plan to use a 340 from the AMT Duster and set of Rally wheels to make it relatively stock...painted it maybe 20 years ago, haven't finished.
  21. Never had the Lindberg/Palmer 1/25th Corvette or Mustang, but do have the '72 Challenger...it wasn't half bad...
  22. Got the 2020 SA Contest Cars issue and a couple Revell reissues in the mail today.
  23. Got a check from my mortgage company today for 62 cents. Apparently, there had been an overpayment from escrow for property tax.
  24. I like that '83-84 Mustang convertible...the TR6 reminds me of my ex-brother-in-law #1's car, he had an orange one he repainted in that same maroon. I remember riding in it as a kid, and that he was always working on it..always had some electrical issue...
  25. That color on the RR reminds me of Winchester Gray which I've seen '70-71 Challengers in.
