  1. It reminds me of the style of Johnny Lightning Zingers/Street Freaks diecasts..would be fun to build in 1/25th scale.
  2. I've been on eBay since late '96..I remember I started buying vintage Hot Wheels on there then models. Bought a lot of stuff on eBay over the years, only a couple transactions have had issues.
  3. Got one a couple miles from me..probably haven't been in there in a year, but they used to have a variety of Revell kits, but not the latest releases.
  4. Beautiful sunny day and my Jeep hit 50k miles...not bad for a 2014 (it had 25k when I bought it 3 1/2 years ago).
  5. Interesting...it's been over 40 years since I built the Monroe kit, thought it was a long bed. Need to dig it out, it's still in my folks house in my upstairs bedroom closet I think...
  6. There was a 4x4 version kitted, That would be nice to see reissued. The one I built as a kid was the Monroe long bed fleetside 2wd.
  7. I'm glad my dogs aren't big enough to wreak havoc in my model room. They are all a few inches from the floor. No little visitors otherwise.
  8. Neat..never had this Courier variation. AW has done these AW exclusives before, there was some strange dragster a year or two ago IIRC, and one of the shortened Beetles...
  9. Coincidentally, I just watched a documentary on the Hollies this afternoon and listened to Allan Clarke's recent album.
  10. A double stop intersection..stop then stop again...
  11. Got mine today, looks good at first glance...
  12. Back when I had a cubicle or office, I rarely ever put anything personal in them. Always lived by the rule of never have anything you can’t walk away from in 30 sec (or pack up in a couple minutes). But since I’ve worked out of my house the last few years, I have a lot of models in my home office....
  13. Model Roundup has it on preorder for $31.90.
  14. Some vendors incl Model Roundup have it for preorder as a December release.
  15. I miss In and Out and Habit Burger. Have the Five Guys chain here and a regional chain called Wayback Burgers I like.
  16. Nice..what vendor did you order yours from?
  17. I recently watched 'The Gentlemen' with Hugh Grant, Colin Farrell and Matthew McConaughey. I usually like director Guy Ritchie's film--I liked 'Snatch', 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels', and 'RocknRolla', but this latest outing from him was pretty dull... hard to follow, tedious. A few decent action scenes and some witty banter, but it fell flat and slow-paced compared to his earlier films, with many of the characters seeming to be retread/variations on a theme.
  18. I love the warnings on the Bandai Cup of Noodles box top...
  19. Got some goodies from Japan today, incl. the Bandai Cup of Noodles kit and Tomica diecast Cup of Noodles w/ wheels.
  20. There definitely seem to be lots of subtleties to the rooflines, etc...differences between 2dr ht, 4dr ht and 4dr sedan, etc. One body style I'd like to do is the '69-only Custom 2dr sedan, but would need to scratch build the '69 Custom/Galaxie grille...
  21. Did you use the 4dr roof for this one? This is a type of conversion I kind of want to do eventually, using the '69 XL kit and '70 sedan to make a '69 LTD 2dr ht.
  22. Salma Hayek and the '68 Cougar were the best parts of that movie...
  23. 4dr...same old, same old...molded in blue, new decals...
  24. I think they all rusted away here in NE Ohio. Can’t recall the last time I saw an S-10 in use.
  25. The best are when someone quotes a post w/ a bunch of photos only to add a one word reply....
