  1. Wild. Never seen anything like those headers...do they just vent into the interior, to poison the driver?
  2. Interesting that the Chevelle is a ‘70, but the MPC annuals were 71 and 72...
  3. Not really comparable, though...physical retail stores in malls are an obsolete concept from the past. They didn't adapt to the internet age and died (and the events of 2020 didn't help either).
  4. I keep my cell on mute and never answer it if I don't recognize the caller id. It's anyone real, they will leave a voicemail.
  5. Yeah, the interior is a question. I thought about cutting down a wagon interior and modifying it, or combining the wagon dash with parts of a stock ‘66 interior.
  6. I have one of those ‘65 awb coupes I want to do something similar with but to get it to fairly stock..
  7. Interesting...not very familiar w/ Frog...they were a British company I believe? I think I saw a pic once of a Frog reboxed AMT Ford kit...
  8. Haven't had a chance to do with mine, but plan to check it out..wheelbase was the same from '62-67, so the 2nd gen chassis should be fine.
  9. They are great...people have been really creative...I saw one where he was on the bridge of the Starship Enterprise from Star Trek, one where he in an old black and white photo of iron workers building a skyscraper, etc...he definitely gets around...
  10. Got a job offer today...I'd been looking for a couple of weeks since I found out that my current contract is ending February 5th. I'd been working remotely for 3 1/2 years, and over the last year it's been clear the work was winding down..been pretty boring lately. I had several interviews last week, and landed a full time gig w/ a local tech company (still working from home though)... using cutting-edge technology, small company, great salary (30% raise over my current gig, which paid quite well) and benefits, etc.
  11. It's a '68 according to the DVLA site. https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/VehicleFound?locale=en
  12. The street M1 is one I definitely want along w/ the Land Cruiser. I have the ESCI street SLC....the plain 190 looks interesting...I built the Fujimi 190 2.3-16 back in the day.
  13. It's an old ESCI tool, probably comparable to their other ex-ESCI tools like the Merc G-wagen, Land Rover and Range Rover. Neat to see it reissued, it's the only 1/24th kit of an FJ/BJ I know of...
  14. Nice..Tamiya has done this subject before, but in 1/12th scale.
  15. Never knew about those kits...very cool..my sister would love those....I built the AMT Yellow Submarine kit for her when it was reissued.
  16. The boxes are about 60% of the height of a normal kit, no doubt so due to the limited parts count.
  17. Got mine today, haven't had a chance to open them yet...neat little boxes.
  18. There are those two little doors on each side of the grille. Maybe also an engine cover in the interior floor? There is a seam ahead of the cowl below the windshield and down the sides, not sure if the whole nose comes off or not.
  19. It's still slow, not as slow as December I've found...an eBay purchase from Jan 3rd just arrived today, 17 days later, not too bad...
  20. Ranger was a trim package on the F-series from '65-81, before the compact Ranger came around...
  21. Sharp build w/ nice weathering... reminds me of the older 4x4s I used to see in the small mountain towns of Colorado I'd see when out exploring.
  22. Not interested in this, have several of the reissues of the stock '70 and '72 along w/ a '71 annual. Would be neat to see the '72 reissued in this version, though:
