  1. I think it would be good to have like/dislike/etc buttons. Sometimes a like is all a post needs, and not a comment.
  2. I remember for years seeing a white 2dr mid 60s Corina w/ green trim down the sides at a gas station in a small Ohio town near where I lived as a kid...
  3. Beautiful fall day, took a drive through a park and saw a gorgeous white '61 Cadillac convertible, rolling top down. Also a sharp red '74-77 Corvette.
  4. Those are both on my all time favorite list.. crime films are probably my favorite genre. Some favorites of mine--- Bullitt Grand Prix To Live and Die in LA Heat Manhunter Collateral Goodfellas Get Carter (the original w/ Michael Caine) Le Cirque Rouge The Departed The first 3 Indiana Jones movies The original Star Wars trilogy Monty Python movies The Big Lebowski most Coen Brothers movies
  5. I've read this is a new tool, an earlier version than the previous Academy kit.
  6. The Pony was their first home grown car, I believe it had some Ford Cortina parts (they had been building Cortinas under license). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyundai_Pony The Hyundai Excel that replaced the Pony was based on the Mitsubishi Mirage. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyundai_Excel
  7. Just spotted this heavily modified for off-roading old Jeep Grand Cherokee (ZJ) across the street...
  8. Tower Hobbies is saying February 2021.
  9. You mean Sean Connery? Roger Moore passed years ago.
  10. I wonder if they tooled up a ‘71 front bumper.
  11. Battlefield Earth..really cheesy sci-fi movie w/ John Travolta, lots of weird camera angles.
  12. I'm in a Facebook group for '69-70 Fords, really like these cars..found a couple pics from there that may help..
  13. That is something I miss about the olden days, before the internet...going into a hobby shop and seeing a new release I didn't know was coming..the surprise and delight... though I do love the easy access to vast quantities of info on the internet (and ease of ordering kits and parts on the internet), but some of the thrill is gone...
  14. It's just funny, people get all anxious about when something will be out, all the speculation over release dates, etc...better to just chill and it will be here when it's here...
  15. Both probably would have been very low volume...Chevy had the Corvair-based van then anyway, and it had more space.
  16. I seem to recall seeing someone post photos of a well done 1:1 custom Chevy II 2dr wagon on here or one of the other modeling forums I'm on a few years ago...
  17. I'm sure it will be out when it is out.
  18. That's what I'd assume... Tower Hobbies has them for pre-order for $76.99... around the same price Model Roundup has an Italeri Superliner listed for.
  19. These are reboxed Italeri kits, probably will be around $75 like the previous ones. Same price range that Italeri truck kits go for in the US.
  20. Just unusual looking compared to adding a rectangular grille opening there.
  21. Neat..wonder what the 3 round holes above the bumper were for..
  22. Heh heh..that's me..didn't turn my outside lights back on until midnight...it was in the 40s and windy last night. Don't think there was much in the way of tricker treating in my neighborhood..no one went past my house, from checking my Ring cameras...
  23. Model Roundup also lists it as a January release.
  24. Good show...as it goes along, there is more late '70s and early 80s stuff...Ford LTD II, Fairmont, etc..
