  1. Man oh man that came out great. Very clean build, and the wood grain decals look wonderful.
  2. Thanks for sharing. I was hoping at least the carb dropdown pieces were in there. Oh well.
  3. Which blower parts were included in the last issue?
  4. I was going to join in on this late in the game, but when I opened my Orange Crate kit I found that the body was trashed. Anyone have an extra?
  5. Are we sure it’s the Parts Pack Harley or is it new tooling?
  6. Doesn’t look like the Revell parts pack Harley if that’s what you’re referring to. Looks like all new tooling edit- I stand corrected
  7. That thing is just too freaking cool. Thanks for the extra pictures. I just love the concept. I didn't notice until now that you changed the configuration of the engines from how they were planned in the kit (which had them side by side). This configuration presents much better with the long glass roof. And of course you made them Hemi's to fit the theme. I hope you don't mind when I steal your idea ?
  8. I absolutely love this build. I follow you on Instagram so that's where I think i saw it first. I was so inspired by it that I immediately began a quest to find the drag parts to do my own version. And now I've sunken deeper into the rabbit hole of 70's van kits. Is there a build thread or an under glass post for this build? I'd love to see more pictures of it.
  9. Sorry I'm late to the party. Did anything further happen with this @stitchdup ?
  10. Great color combo and execution of the flames.
  11. Love the heritage edition. We just got our Bronco June of '23 and my wife is so annoyed that if we had just waited a little longer we could have ordered a Heritage. We love our Big Bend, but the Heritage takes the classic look to the next level.
  12. Hey Bil, cool to see a full body car on your bench. Looking great so far. BMF just requires patience. Get a sheet of it and practice on a scrap body. I think the stock FE air cleaner would be fine if you paint it to match the body if you don't have anything else that strikes your fancy.
  13. Hey Jim, I haven't been around here much lately, so I'm catching up. Did this one ever get pushed across the finish line? Hope you are doing well.
  14. This is looking really good. Nice work tubbing the rear.
  15. There are aftermarket directory and 3D printing store directory threads pinned to the top of this section. Unfortunately after a certain amount of time posts can no longer be edited by anyone other than admins and mods, so the lists themselves may have businesses that are no longer valid or new businesses. But the threads themselves contain additional info.
  16. Did this ever get finished, or at least further progress?
  17. It's a great kit to have at Hobby Lobby and other mass retailers because it has name recognition for impulse buys and people who don't know what to buy for someone who "is into cars"
  18. There's no "missing parts" unless you are comparing it to the 2n1 kit that was out awhile back. And unlike the true 2n1 kits from the 60's, this kit was not designed to have 2 versions in the box. It required running the entire stock tool, and then running the entire custom tool and then throwing away the body.
  19. May I suggest widening the trunk/rumble seat opening when you do it? I've seen conversions in scale where the builder just stuck a bed in the stock opening and the bed is just ridiculously narrow in my opinion. Open the width to the molding and the height down to the splash pan and it should give it better proportions.
  20. @admin, maybe combine this into the existing thread?
  21. If the name of the model is Mustang, Corvette or Camaro Hobby Lobby will stock it. It's easy name recognition for the non-automotive inclined buyers.
  22. Can't wait to see the finished product at KKIM Marty
  23. glad you were able to forge a path and show the rest of us a good way to backdate the venerable Revell 32 frame. As we discussed, I have a similar idea rattling around in the ol' noggin. Now that you've done the work it's almost certain someone will come out with a 3D printed one, right? ?
  24. Off to a good start. For a more detailed chassis can you use one of the many first gen mustang frames to save you some work? edit- oops, I see that you're using the Moebius frame already
  25. Very cool giving it your own spin. I dig the double thin whitewalls. I've seen this kit around before but didn't realize how Nailhead-esque the engine is. Cool to see the double distributor setup wired up.
