Historic Racing Miniatures Parts
Mr. Metallic replied to 250 Testa Rossa's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Just to clarify, which business closed, Model builders Warehouse or HRM? I want to abate the confusion before rumors spread about the demise of the wrong company. -
Dennis, I apologize if you've mentioned this already, but what is your wheel/tire combo? Unique and stunning.
-
Thanks, didn't know that part was in there.

Chopped 1934 Ford 5 window coupe body
Mr. Metallic replied to krassandbernie's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Nah, there's still plenty of traffic on this forum, but I don't think people venture down to this area as heavily since it's further down the main page. There's also not a heavy hot rod presence here. My rough estimation is that hot rods make up about 10% of the threads in the Bench section. -
Looking good. great color

Great stance, and I love the color. Keep it rolling!

Glad you're not too badly hurt. Cracked ribs sounds like no fun though. However, glad to see this one back on the bench!

The admins should just pin a thread to the top here that everyone can deposit their wants and suggestions for Round2 in. Same for other manufacturers, rather than having a new one pop up every week. Not saying it's not a worthwhile discussion to have.

Not sure how much traffic this area of the board gets. -
Thanks for the heads up on that bumper. I plan to build mine without the connie kit.

That chop is wicked. Keep it rolling.

Well, the original designers for the 65 roadster made those Webers to be side draft because it was a different intake setup, similar to the Grand Sport Vettes. But when they redesigned the kit the repurposed the now incorrect side draft Webers into the downdraft intake By the way, your build is freaking RAD!
-
Glad to see you back Dennis. Of course your trad stuff is always just right. The original idea for the roadster was fun, but your changes are a home run in my book.

32 Grilles on an A, or a cut down one on a T are fine with me. But when people stick them on the front of a 33/34 Ford I just have to ask why??? Don't get me wrong, I am a huge 32 Ford fan, but the vertical 32 grille completely fights the swooping line of the cowl on the 33/34. I don't have a lot of pet peeves, but that is one.

Welcome back Chris! Missed seeing you around here and TRaK

Very clean build, with some cool part swaps. Well done.

Thanks for taking us along on the journey. Fun build (except the stripes ?)

Very clean build as always from you Dennis. Where is the intake with Webers from? I love nailheads
