Got the hood bulge on my Mustang painted with Testors Graphite Dust. Once I get home I'll tape off the rocker panels and hit it with the same. Thinking of a yellow or red pinstripe to outline the GD. Later-

22 pieces of houndstooth interior decals to get the seats covered on the Mustang because I had to use decals from a 69 Camaro. Later-

I heard that one Wal Mart in my area has kits. Don't know about any others. I guess I should check it out. But then, I may end up buying some..... Later-

I'm still liking the plan for this. The soft top idea looks like a good one. I'm interested to see how you work it out. Are you thinking of making tracks for it to slide in or just attach it on top? Later-

Tonight's progress on the 57. Got the grill and headlights installed. A bit of Molotow and panel line accent touch ups done. I noticed a problem with the rear drivers side bumper molding. This is a problem with the mold because the two rear bumpers I had were identical. I began the repair by cutting the parking light off of the driver's side and cutting a passenger side from a spare. Then glued the passenger side on the driver's side. Spread a bit of putty, dried and sanded. Now to get some Molotow on it during the next bench session. Later-

Painted the final color coats on my Mustang this morning after smoothing out a couple of spots. Went with Testors Viper GTS Blue pearl because it was on hand. May do some white or black graphics. Later-

Been passing time on breaks and such with this rebuilder 79-80 Mustang GT. I removed the decals the other day This morning I got a coat of primer on. Stuck it in the dehydrator for an hour, wet sanded and sprayed a second coat of primer. Now I'll hit it with another round of wetsanding and then decide on what shade of stock(ish) blue to paint it.
