That's because it's Testor's Wet Look Clear. Lol Later-

Got this thing wet sanded and the final coats of clear on it this morning. Now to let it sit in the dehydrator for a while and then give it a final polish in a week and touch up the chrome. Nearing the final stretch! Later-

Gary Seeds did a sweet one years back. That's the one that gave me the idea for it. Had always planned doing a Rootbeer paint with gold and silver pinstripes. Later-

Looks like a solid plan. I also have wanted to do this for quite a while. Just always had other projects jump in front of it. I'll be watching the progress. Later-

I was just playing with different things , like you said, had wanted to not have to spray so many clear green coats. The chrome is sprayed with a couple of light coats of Tamiya Smoke. Later-

Man! That looks amazing! Your work on this has turned out beautifully. Love the color on it. It looks very similar to my Nova I did. I used a layer of Tamiya Gun metal, then a layer of green and then the clear green. Keep up the good work. I like how your interior turned out too. Later-

That's looking very nice. Great work so far. Later-

I LIKE it so far!! Later-

Looks great! Love the interior work. What color is the body? Later-

Yeah, it's not too far gone. Go ahead and strip it, give it a good sanding and clean it really well. Then you can start over with light coats. I once painted a body 6 times with Tamiya paints. Dropped it, had something greasy on the body, someone gropped something on top of it while drying. You name it...It ended up costing me almost $70 in paint alone but it turned out to be one of my nicest customs. Keep after it! You'll get it. Later-

Lol! They were "lovingly" called chickens. Funny how an idea gets started in our brains. I say go for it!! Later-

Declan, Silver with blue chicken would be a great combo. PM sent. Later-

Got this yesterday on the way home to add to the stash. Off of FB Marketplace for $10. Open but complete. Only the engine halves glued together. Later-

Your build is looking great so far! What color are you planning? I ended up with the 1/16 Tans Am and the 1/16 Charger new in the boxes when I bought a bunch of kits from a guy off of FB Marketplace. Really have no interest in either one and tried to sell them pretty cheap a while back but had no takers. I'll have to keep an eye on your build just in case I end up having to keep them. Later-

Ooh! I like that! Later-

Thanks. Thanks! It does look a bit like that color. Proof that there is "nothing new under the sun". Later-

Thanks Carl. I remember reading that article. Nice work done to that Pacer. Later-

Got a couple of 3D printed 572's (stock and blown) in today. I think I may be back on track with this one. Going to try to scratchbuild a twin turbo system along with the 572. Later-

Got these two 3D printed engines off of FB Marketplace. Delivered today. A blown 572 and a stock 572. Now I can get back to work on my 67 Nova Sedan. Going to try to fab up a twin turbo system for it. Later-
