  1. Nigel, That's looking killer! The body color and stance are perfect and I really like the bronze added to the wheel centers. That will set it off just right. Great work, as usual. Later-
  2. You've got a nice smooth primer layer going on. Your door lines look great! I like the look of the 1:1 you posted too. I'll be watching for your progress. Later-
  3. Been working a bit on this one during some of my stints at the bench. I cleaned up.the seams on the engine block and airbrushed it with Molotow. Then I hit it with some panel line accent. I had to slightly modify the location of the alternator due to the custom frame brace. Got the wheels and brake discs mounted and the chain hit with some paint to de-chrome it. Tomorrow will be adding the belt and cover. I'm really liking the look of this one. I'm thinking of doing a candy green with marble effect on my second one. Later-
  4. I thought it looked familiar but I didn't really recognize it without chrome. Later-
  5. Thanks for the reply. Later-
  6. That looks very good! Your work on this is neat and clean! Great color choice on the body. I just got three more of these 68-69 Dart kits in the last two weeks. That gives me a total of 5 complete kits and one partial. Can't wait to get started on one or two. Later-
  7. What kit is that axle from? I have a complete, unstated kit of this 28 and have debated whether to do so.ething with it. I'll be keeping an eye on yours. Later-
  8. Very nice work! I love the idea. Great color on those fenders too. You mentioned perhaps offering a casting of this. How would I go about getting one? Do you have other stuff that you offer? PM me please. Later-
  9. Your work is looking good. I like the extra details you're putting in to it.. I'll be watching.. I stalled out on my custom Milk Trike for now when I messed up the paint on it. I'll be getting back.to.it soon. Later-
  10. Covid is the excuse companies are using for price increases. I am sure supply has been affected to a degree. But when I'm told that a single sheet of subflooring for my home remodel now costs $98(!!!) I have to cry "foul". And I thought price gouging was supposed to be a criminal act. Later-
  11. Thanks Man. I have been slowly plugging along on this during breaks at work. Made a seat cushion and painted it and the grips in Satin Warm Caramel. I thought it would go better with the red than black would. I also have the front end together and am working on the engine and rear wheel setup. At the moment the rear tire hits the fender so I'll need to do some adjusting there. Later-
  12. I remember similar accounts. I had a lot of fun in that car over a short few years before my older brother wrecked it, bending the frame. Later-
  13. I learned to drive in 85. We had three vehicles at that time that I took turns learning to drive. We had a 47 Ford four door sedan with the sloped back-bone stock with the 6 cylinder and three on the tree, a 73 Plymouth "Gold Duster"- automatic with a slant 6, and a 51 Kaiser. Loved all three of them for different reasons. Later-
  14. Same here Larry! Got my end of a deal with Gloozalot, plus some extra!! George is a great guy! Thanks! Later-
  15. Thanks guys! Much appreciated. I have a WIP thread going on it. Later-
  16. X2. Love it! Later-
  17. That is cool! Glad you were able to get it. Later-
  18. Zippi- Great looking 1:1 you found. Nice to see someone else building a similar Nova. I looked online and found one I like. I'm thinking of building a turboed LS motor for mine (if I can come up with an LS). My Nova is a resin post sedan. I sprayed the chrome with Tamiya Smoke. Can't wait to see yours. Later-
  19. Yeah, I like the look of the smaller tank. I think lowering the height of the tank would give it a better look. I'm enjoying building the bike kits that I have. I may have to convert one to a trike myself. Later-
  20. Gregory, Although your choice of builds are not anything I would desire to build I am always impressed by your quality of building. Even more so when it's understood that there is no readily available kit from which to start. Extremely impressive work! I look forward to viewing your next masterpiece. Later-
  21. Extremely impressive work and beautiful photos. Nicely done Steve! A level to aspire to. Later-
  22. Beautifully done! Nice and clean. I hope mine turns out as well as yours. Later-
  23. Looks very good! Nice added details too. PM sent. Later-
