MCM Ohana (6/6)

  1. Nice custom. You must have been scared by a Tucker when you were a child. LOL
  2. Whoa!! I did not know he passed. When? I liked his builds and his unique way of writing. Loved the term "Snake fu" when speaking of mods he did.
  3. Nice job on the GTX. I guess you could reverse a scan of the dashboard and 3D print an Aussie version with a right side driver position
  4. Faster isn't a name they used in the US, LUV stood for Light Utility Vehicle and the Isuzu version was called Mikado or P'UP which stood for Pick Up
  5. My favorite body style of the Skylarks. My Grandfather had a 69 Skylark Custom new in a light green metallic, and I later owned a 69 Special Deluxe coupe in brown metallic with white top.
  6. I like the "B" paint scheme. Is thgis more accurate than the old Johan kit?
  7. Great rescue.
  8. Sorry to hear this. Condolences to the members of the company and modelling community.
  9. Nothing wrong with snappers. Great looking Vette.
  10. I know Texas charges 16 bux for a state ID. In Wisconsin they are available at no cost. I love it here.
  11. I had heard that was either Jiarus' or Gary Schmidt's mom. The original art had her in an all white suit but someone (don't remember who) thought it resembled underwear and Jairus added the polka dots
  12. Perry's was not as accurate as it could have been. 3D is the way to go. Your hood looks very close to correct as far as I can see. Some prints had a slight mis interpretation of the character lines from front to back. Yours look right. Have fun.
  13. I'll be in the garage today. I'll get that trim bit for the hood out for ya. Sorry it took so long.
  14. I used to own the 1976 version. Hornet X V8 in Kermit the Frog green. It was a little beast.
  15. They were beautiful cars in real life. I worked at a Pontiac dealer and we had those on the lot.
