  1. Yeah they do seem pretty narrow for custom wheels and tires.
  2. They aren't mentioned in the instructions. I suppose you would have to scrounge a set if you wanted to use them, though it is better that they included them rather than getting rid of them. Correct, the tires are not included in this issue.
  3. Got the new 1/12 Camaro kit in the mail today.
  4. Custom/Houndstooth.
  5. Tires are all 13/16" (2cm) wide. Front wheels are 1-5/8" (4cm) diameter, not including lip that goes into tire. Rear wheels are 1-3/4" (4.5cm) diameter, not including lip that goes into tire.
  6. Just got mine today, can't wait to build it!
  7. ^Yup! Though you could also post a WIP in the regular forum as well if you want for those people who don't wander into the CBP forum.
  8. Wheels look like the ones from the AMT 1972 Blazer kit.
  9. Never thought about resin since I've never done it before but I'll keep your photo offer in mind!
  10. I'll have to check mine when I get home from vacation since Hobbylinc still doesnt have a definite date listed.
  11. You know, I'm starting to see why they do this. If they aren't desperate to get rid of stuff, why not just post it for big bucks and see if anyone will pay? If no one does, you could always lower the price and try again.
  12. Check down a few threads, theres already a thread about this (though yes it comes with all the stock parts).
  13. What car would that be?
  14. So Nick, what are you thinking of building?
  15. If you want to go larger than 1/16, then I'd agree with the rerelease of the '69 Camaro coming out soon, or the Bel Air if you can find reasonably cheap.
  16. I'm going to go with a (AMT) 1973 Mercury Cougar.
  17. Where'd you get yours from?
  18. I'm pretty sure the '69 only came with bucket seats.
  19. True it probably is mostly the cladding that's the issue, though it also seems that many have issues getting the front grille/hood to sit properly as well.
  20. This is the first Cannonball CBP that I've been in and I'm already excited to see the theme for the next one!
  21. Great build ruined by kit fitment issues. It seems like every build I see, including mine, has issues getting the body cladding and the bed to sit properly. It doesn't help that fitting the cladding involves a bit of guessing. Paint color and finish is excellent, the taillights are an interesting touch, and the bedliner certainly adds to the realism!
  22. Ding ding, we have a winner! OT: Even though I know the correct pronunciation, I still say "Will-eez" since whenever I see the word "Willy" pronounced it's always "Will-ee" rather than "Will-ih". Yes it is a name, but it's just how I grew up saying it.
  23. Best part about them was the fact that since it covered the taillights, they had to graft another set on the camper unit. So when you look from the side, you can see two sets of taillights.
  24. Its still on the workbench, just taking a break for a bit since theres so much modifications I have to make to update it to a '98 model. Should be starting on it again after Christmas.
  25. I did a search on what was used on the 1:1 and it seems no one is really sure. The general consensus is that it's an "argent silver", and one guy said that his was painted with Krylon Dull Aluminum. If it's the 1/25 scale kit you're building, I'm sure most silvers would work just fine.
